Well I may have to unfortunately slow down things a bit- the list of guys I wanted at 9 wasn't as long as it needed to be. I will end up making 1.9 after work, sorry ya'll :(

            Perfect, thanks Bradz.

I won't be able to pick probably until tomorrow around midday eastern, to have a good look around the prospects.

When I started out I was hoping to get Pineda and Bunch... What I got was a pitcher, a loss of next year's first and bunch... Interesting strategy... Prestianni better turn into a stud... especially when Pineda turns into a young Hector Feliciano!

I'm still perusing the pool, but I'm open to moving this pick to trade down in the draft if anybody has somebody they really want.

9th pick goes JR Longval out of Rice. Pretty advanced pitcher development wise but his stats do not back it up. My current scout really likes him but my recently retired scout (who was better than my current one) thought he was an absolute stud. There were a few other guys I was looking at for this pick but my scout does not think there are many good SP in this draft. I do not think Longval will be an ace but he could be a solid #2 starter.

I like him. Key will be whether he develops his changeup.

Just a quick look I cannot believe Pat was allowed to get two top 10 picks.

                                UMD, good luck my friend.
