Also, is it bad when your long relief guy leads the team in strikeouts after the first week? Asking for a friend.

Team already playing to their DNA: 4-2 week, 3-0 vs. Denver but just 1-2 @ Death Valley despite outscoring the Scorpions 11-6 in the series. The past few years that's our style. Also noticed I forgot to turn off my seven day lineups which resulted in only four SPs going to the mound including veteran Dave Toste on two days rest. #RookieMoves

              Reminders:
-Check out the waivers. There is currently 47 players on the wire available to be claimed!
-Minor leagues start this week don't forget to set those lineups, depth charts and pitching staffs.

Despise the first week always. Never seem to get my lineup right with the others teams starting pitching. 2-4 nothing we can't dig ourselves out of , but with the moral switch you just never know today.

Until Douglass gets back gonna need to figure out who can lead off. Starting pitching was dreadful.

Gonna take til mid-season to figure out how the version change impacted certain players.

Good week for the Brawlers with a 5-2 start. Chris Lemus was the IL Player of the Week and I think Jacob Stokes had to be right behind him with 2 shutout wins for the week.

It clearly can't hold up all year, but with Dave Webber in the four hole...

                          Pat Fiume 0.385/0.407/0.792
                          Erik Redding 0.522/0.593/1.043
                          Mike Morla 0.545/0.615/1.136

After years of having teams built on high OBP, strong defence an outstanding pitching... we've thrown caution to the wind this year.

                          The result...
16 home runs and 39 runs scored
11 home runs and 45 runs against

                          for...

a 4-2 start to the season!!

3-3 for the week. Not bad at all for the first week, on the road, in two pitchers parks.

One thing that is close to a sure thing, is that this team will score some runs. Both Bruno and CJ struggled in their first week but we put up some impressive offensive stats on the road nonetheless.

Also, Storm Johnson has finally debuted on the Top Players List at #19 as the kid seems to still be improving. Bruno, CJ, Storm as a 2/3/4 doesn't look fun to pitch against.

22 year old rookie infielder, Robby Adelsberger also had a nice debut. I noticed a lot (relatively) of intentional walks past Storm and CJ to get to Robby and played up to the pressure of hitting behind those established stars. The North Carolina native and former Sooner star seems to picking up where he left off in his 2025 September call-up and will be a young player to watch out for as the season progresses.

Everything wasn't sunshine and roses for the Bulldogs, though. Our pitching, particularly our bullpen, got handled by the New York offense. We gave up a lot of runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings. Normally our pitching is kind of rusty out of the gate due to the lack of reps I give to starters to avoid injuries in ST.

Next week we play two more on the road in Washington before we head home for an unbelievable, 16 straight games in the friendly confines.
