    Thanks Brad.

Willie Fajardo, Jimmy West, Edgar De Alba, Edgar Luna can all be had for a song.
Send me a trade offer. No offer is too unreasonable. Nothing is beneath me (except California).

The Kodiaks continue their streak of being horrible...

Although it is likely a few seasons away, I am starting to get excited about the future though...

P Scooter Nackers has been our pitcher of the month (3-0 in his last three starts with 25 2/3 innings and 0 ER).
P Jimmy Bradford is 2-0 with 17 IP and 4 ER since he was called up two sims ago.
P Aldo Gilbert is 1-0 in has last two starts with 15.2 IP and three earned runs.

We also now have 5 prospects on the top 100 list.
        42 C.J. Bruno California 21 SP 65 65 50 A 2-4 5.94 53.0 74 19 41
        53 Ron Horton California 23 SP 70 65 35 AAA 8-6 2.31 113.0 82 51 82
        73 C.J. East California 21 SP 60 50 60 A 7-0 2.68 80.2 76 12 53
        76 Xavier Fears California 20 SP 60 60 60 A 1-5 5.32 44.0 57 13 35
        96 Efren Edwards California 18 C 55 70 60 20 - A .287 9 53
Couple that with 3 firsts and 5 seconds next year... and hopefully will be set to go... Bring on 2026 Baby!

On the down side... A little annoyed at how that Horning trade is working out for us...

Horning gone and Garrett Pfeiffer and his leadership are batting 0.350 in Toronto... Ugh!!!

Seattle goes 2-4 on the road despite outscoring our opponents 27-19.

The big news was the decision to claim veteran SP Dave Toste. I've always been a big fan of his and despite struggling for California this year I think he might have something left in the tank. Our rotation needed another reliable RH and leadership. Not sure I can squeeze him into the rotation this week but the 37-year-old will see plenty of September/October action. He actually might be our #2 RHSP.

Now tied for the division with Death Valley. This will likely go down to #162.

All three of our minor league teams are in the post-season again but I think only Triple-A Vancouver has a shot at winning the league title.

What is going on with the AA playoffs? I don't see them in-game.

There's one game on the schedule: a Monday match-up between 60-61 Calgary and 59-61 Mojave. It appears to be a regular season game, as the standings have an 'x' next to Calgary, indicating they already clinched the division. I'm also not clear on why Calgary played one more regular season game than every other club already and still has one left.

Dave Sliney is on waivers. One of the best "change of scenery" waiver pickups you could make.

                        D'oh!!
Twas a busy week and totally forgot about this.
And I know I should probably know this, but I don't believe we do waiver-trades any longer, correct?
So basically if I waive them I get nothing, right?

Old deadline was July 31st. We dumped waiver trades and extended deadline two weeks.

Your only option is keeping them or waiving them in hopes to save a few $.

In Tuesday night's game against California, the Kodiaks scored two runs in the top of the ninth to even the score at seven.

Tom Wright led off the bottom of the frame by working a walk, and then advanced to third when the next batter, Sean Gallion, singled to right field.

But Wright strained his hamstring taking third and had to exit the game.

Pitcher Diego Moore came in to pinch run for Wright. Two batters later, he scored the winning run when J.P. Smith singled into left field.
