4-2 sim. Not making any ground on DVS these days but keeping pace in the WC hunt.

4-2 for the Bulldogs and despite the road series win over Batavia, we weren't able to trim anything off of their lead in the Stout.

SP Alex Dominguez is asking for another 8 year, $200+ MM contract and of late, is playing like he deserves it. The 31 year old hurler has posted three consecutive games with an 80+ game score, including a 3 hit, 6K, CG shutout of the Riders. Too bad we are too broke to resign him.

Four syllables: C.J. Stripling.

He had a great year last year but he's just kicked it up to 'best hitter in the BLB' level now. Stripling is just 24 and won his 3rd IL POTM of the year and is still on pace to have one of the most prolific offensive seasons in BLB history. He hits .393 in Phillips Field but he only hits .350 on the road which in itself would still lead the IL by a significant margin. #parkfactors

Another garbage week in California, but we have climbed to #16 in Top Systems and with the addition of CJ East, we now have 4 pitchers in the top 100 prospects. Couple that with some hitters we like, and 3 firsts, and 5 seconds in the upcoming draft... Hopefully we can turn this around in 2-3 seasons!
