    Thanks Brad.

    ---

Seattle goes just 3-4 this week, including losing both series to NY/DEN in Seattle 1-2. Defense and lack of bullpen depth cost us yet again. We are now 1st in runs, but 6th in defense and 6th in runs allowed. Don't think it's in the cards for us to win the division but we should be able to hold onto one of the four Wild Card spots. My owner just informed me besides the fact that we cut the team cancer like he asked, we held off from signing FAs in order to increase revenue like he asked, are on pace to make the playoffs (he just asked for above .500 record), we are actually projected to have our budget DECREASED in the off-season. Thanks dude.

Down to 30 at Single-A after a few cuts. We have 10 players DFA but half are on waivers and I plan to have it 100% cleared in the next sim or two. Keep an eye on waivers and the FA pool, as Seattle cuts some fringe players.

    ---

+Oh and New Orleans having the DL's best record at the mid-way point is nothing short of a shock. Pretty big injuries this sim as well across the league.

    +All-Star voting finalized.

    +Here come's Philly! BradZ

On a more important note... after dumping almost $20 000 000 into development this year, we received a tonne of improvement across our A and AA teams this sim!

Also, after jettisoning 17 douche bags, out A and AAA teams have a lineup full of happy or ecstatic hitters and pitching staffs that are fairly content...

The problem in the MLB is that the players have all turned themselves into the same player... Every now is a laugh angle home run hitter that strikes out way too much... No point overpaying for a guy like JD Martinez, when you kind reinvent one from the scrap heap at a fraction of the cost!

And the pitchers over 30 wanting 5-6 year deals. Projections always show a drop off after 34 and the GMs have caught on to it.

In the end every team has the same data and programs. New world now. Luxury penalty/ loss of draft picks, intl money all playing a big roll now

That's just it... The players are crying collision, but now that front offices are filled with ivy league math personnel and not 'old players' teams are shopping with their brains and not their hearts as often...

Now if I could just get Dombrowski to stop signing old stars in Boston, all would be well.

3-3 for the Bulldogs. We couldn't do much against that runaway freight named Philly but Denver brought a broom for us to use. Thanks, Carlos!

According to the Utilities Playoff Odds tracker, we still have an 87% chance of winning the division so, we just need to stay the course.

OF CJ Stripling won his second IL POTW Award to match his number of IL POTM Awards for this year. He's having a historic run so far this year, leading the the IL in nearly every offensive stat. The one major stat e doesn't lead the IL in is home runs and he's in 2nd place there. He just signed a new contract and it is great to see that he's going all in after signing.

37 year old starting pitcher, Dave Honea didn't have the debut for us that I'd hoped, but the fact that adding Dave has pushed us up to the 2nd best rotation (according to the positional overview page) in the BLB is very encouraging for where we want to be going into the second half of the season.

                  - Playoffs: '92, '93, '97, '98, '99, '01, '03, '06, '08, '12, '13, '14, '15, '16
                  - Brewmaster's Cup: '01

Good ol' Stripling. I remember really wanting him and you selected him one pick ahead of me. I then got Guerrero who was just traded for peanuts to DVS.

Back from vacation with a 3-3 week. Will be looking for a top 2 starter in the back half, but I don't want Carlos' sloppy seconds. PM or slack if you're interested in moving someone.

                        Wow, the dirt here.

Real disrespect to Spectre and his former star. I thought you had love for New York.
