4-2 sim. Both losses by one run. We are now an IL worst 7-12 in those types of games.

Good to get Swope back healthy, Nieto and Ulloa start to heat up a little bit. We need those guys to stay healthy and produce.

My minors are a combined 94-44.

        Pawtucket 3-3.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with SP J.D. Einhorn. Kaufman seems to be have stablized, but now another just starter is acting up. RJ gone for a good remainder of the season, but that might be a bad thing. Its a little sooner then I planned, but been eager to see what Erik Marrella can do in the closer role. Were gonna move Tom Bailey back into the setup role he had from last season. Maybe this stops the leaking there.

As for the offense....we've moved players around to no avail. While our offense doesn't scream dominant we have a #3,#3 & #5 position strength and besides SS it doesn't sound like a bottom 3rd offense yet yeah the pieces aren't working right now.

In the end if our pitching isn't working , then we won't work. Its just the way were built. Maybe its just one of those years.

Pawtucket (and Indy) being sub .500 in June is a big surprise....but I wouldn't freak out. It's a long season.

I'm not. I do know OOTP17 has always had a bit more year to year or under the hood variation to each season which honestly is probably more real life then saying "here are the ratings im good". Doesn't mean its not frustrating.

I suppose last seasons Batavia is a good example as to why I'm worried.

Couple one run losses. Dave Rizer brings his .300 avg and DWI glove to the ILs best defense. Still need to find some power in LF or RF and probably need another bullpen arm. Otherwise all good in Vegas.

A 4-2 week for the Brawlers. Managed to even win some high scoring games which is a surprise for us.

4-2 week. It's our first winning sim in about a month, and we're at .500. Still 114 games to play for us, so plenty of time to get things figured out if we're going to do it. Unfortunately we lost the last two games of the week to prevent a really good sim.

I got Blackmon back this sim. He's possibly my 2nd best hitter, so that should help even if he was pretty terrible this sim. But, I lost Calligan for the next week. Big loss, since we play the IL's two best teams this coming sim - at Baltimore and at Death Valley. Probably going to be a long week against the real contenders.

Once that toilet starts to flush it's really hard to get the water back.

Meanwhile our bullpen in LA now sucks.

That's what happens when you build your bullpen with mostly former Freedom guys.

Somehow I've been able to keep them happy least most of them. That even makes me MORE mad. They seemed pleased with themselves.

3-3 sim, we are officially out of the cellar for now. Keep on trucking, would love to get to .500 in the near future.

If he keeps hitting, will be calling up #5 prospect Alpha McCormick in the near future given the garbage production I'm getting from my catchers. Will give him a few more weeks down on the farm though. Dave Bickford looks like he is close to ready. Gonna have to rearrange the infield defense a bit.
