    Thanks Brad.

I'm 9-3 if you don't count KC going full Bill Cosby on me.
I'm glad I don't see those dirty mouthbreathers again till July.

A nice 4-2 week in California. Considering Mike Morla is ice cold, and we traded away our best closer, starter, reliever, and outfielder... 9-10 isn't that bad! Now if those damn fans, who are supposed to be loyal would start showing up through the turnstiles, we'd be having a decent year!

On a good note, second year 3B Erik Redding is continuing his ascension into a very good BLB player...
0.329 4 HR and 10 RBI to go along with DWI defence at third!

Pawtucket 4-2 back to back weeks. Still looking for that break out week, but until then hasn't really been all that bad considering our Ace started out cold and we are struggling to find a offensive identity. 2nd place and in perfect stalking position for now.

RP 'Genghis Khan' debuted for us this week. Going to work in the set-up role for now being mentored by RJ Green. Zero runs in 7 innings including a 4.2 scoreless performance at Maine. We invested a late first round pick on this kid to be our future closer.

Week in Review - 6-1 (2-1 vs Indy, 4-0 vs Montreal)

              - KC asserted it's dominance over Montreal with a four game sweep. The Comets are now 7-0 against the Exports on the season, outscoring them by a total of 46-19.

              - Rookie 1B Dave Hodge won player of the week with a .529 BA, 3 HR and 6 RBI. He leads the league in BA and is tied for 2nd in HR's.

              - Dan Bradford jumped into the top pitchers list at #18. He's now 4-0 with a 1.36 ERA in 4 starts since joining the Comets. 2 of his 4 starts have been complete games causing some to wonder if KC manager Fei-hsien Loong is working Bradford too hard early in the season.

              - KC is last in the league in stolen bases with only 2 SB in 6 attempts.

              Looking Ahead (3 @ Toronto, 3 @ Pawtucket)

              - KC is in contract negotiations to re-sign veteran relief pitcher Franklin Ramires. The team holds a $2.7m option for next season but they asked Ramires to take a pay cut in order to remain with the team beyond 2025.

Bradford should have been on the last for the last three years! I'm not really sure how it never happened before then, but he's been a stud for a few years now!

I wouldn't worry about it. The guy is a workhorse!

And for only the second week in the last 4 seasons, Morla finds himself not in the #1 spot for Top Player... Hopefully I won't regret not trading him when I had the chance...

And before the e-mails come... I'm still stupidly not trading him.

We're not good right now. Second straight losing week drops us to near .500 and we lost another important player to injury.

4-3 as we sweep struggling NY but get smacked back to reality, losing 3 of 4 at home hosting Batavia.

The most impressive showing came from 2024 New Brew winner, Bruno Damours. The 19 year old Canadian exploded after a slow start to April, going 13/30 with 6 home runs, 2 BB and 14 RBI, en route to his first IL POW for 2025. The kid had two multi-home run game for the week including a 4-4, 3 HR display against Batavia.

No more questions about this kid’s power. It is definitely here now.
