Well that makes mine the third... so i'm liking my odds with him.

The guy I was targeting is all 8-8-7-7-7... but since no one was biting on him I decided to go with Austin instead.

Freddie Thompson was our top rated prospect at SP.

5-4-5 for us. Had to sort alphabetical for him.

I'm alive...I'm alive!! Good to be back to my own bed but much more important my own computer.

My scouts have Stephens at 7-6-8 and starting out at 4-4-4. I don't really understand this game yet nor the scouting features but hopefully he isn't a bust. We could really use a good pitcher in our lineup.

I am not sure I understand this logic. No one had bitten on Austin either.

If it gets to my turn and one of the guys I figured would be gone in the top 5 or so is still there, should I think, "I better not pick that guy, no one has chosen him yet".

            • No... but I just got a bad feeling about the guy I wanted... all 2's... and Austin was more polished... i.e.... less of a risk.

              • Good pick Linty.. I had no shot of getting my highest rated player in the draft @ 1.18. He was 8's across the board, and 2's in the speed/basestealing categories.

                • I messed up. I had Austin as 8s across the board. I have another guy still on the board with all 8s, and one 7. However, my top pitcher is still there. I had him on par with Chet Stephens at 8-7-8.

So with the 9th pick in the draft, it looks like you will have your choice between Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson. What a Dilema.

It's a lovely position to be in.

Well, it would be if only you could get the league to load.

That's taken care of, and I appreciate your concern.

                          • I don't have any players with 8's across the board. Though a couple of players I like are still on the board, I hope they make it a few more picks.

                            • The draft utility seems to be fixed now. It didn't like when I uploaded the file containing the draft order, but when I copied and pasted the contents it started working fine.

Let me know if anybody has trouble picking.

                              • Los Lunas just took the guy I passed on... Ramirez. He was the other all 8's my scout had. I passed on him because between the first time my scout, scouted him he was all 8's but in this most recent sim he switched up to 8-8-8-7-8.

I just didn't like the fact that the guy was already dropping ratings before he was even drafted.
