This is why it's a bad idea to announce picks early. Everyone's commenting about how questionable of a pick it is. Since it isn't official, who says Spectre can't go and change his pick?

I'd much rather see everyone wait til noon. It's not like we're talking about waiting an entire week...

These ratings only have an effect if the scout is actually making a draft pick for his team, right? Or would a scout who favors tools take a different view than one who favors ability in determining actual player ratings?

I think there was an understanding that posting these picks was as good as making them. I guess if that's not the case, I'll wait. That seems pretty sketchy to even imply that it would/could work any other way.

Nobody's implying that it's something Spectre would do, but I wouldn't put it past someone like Pat.

It looks like I'm gonna' be on the road for most of the draft. I HATE missing the draft. Commish: I've already set the utility to auto-draft for Los Lunas.

I hope by this you mean auto-draft using draft list and that you included enough players on the list to get you through a couple of rounds. If the utility is set to just auto-draft, doesn't it just make kind of random picks?

Please make sure to change your utility passwords. Since all passwords were reset to baseball when the utility was upgraded, there is nothing to prevent other users from logging in and looking at your draft lists. Not that anyone in this league would do that.
