  • With that last pick, RF Hector Marin, I landed a player that I was considering taking at 1.12.

I'm not really sure what to make of this new scouting feature.

    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

Sure you're not thinking of Raul Marin?

Yes. My scouts liked both, but they had Hector Marin at 6-6-3-5-4.

            • I'm ready to go, just need to get past this pick we've been stuck on.

              • Good pick by Carolina at 4.13.

Scouts really liked Jonah McCarthy. Highest remaining hitter on my board by far.

                • FYI, I'm going to keep the time limit at 4 hours for the remainder of the draft. We have plenty of time to finish and have made excellent progress so far.

                      • Pick is in. I'm set to auto the rest of the way. If it gets stuck on me, just auto it from here on out.

                        • The SP I just drafted, Raul Boudon, was rated 5-6-4 by my scout. I considered taking him in the first round until I saw that he had a "4" endurance from my scout and a "5" from OSA.

                          This draft is nuts.

qft. this draft is either my best... a few top 50 prospects, or my scout is completely wrong and I got jack crap.

                            • I guess I'm a pessimist. I just consider all of the draft picks crap until proven otherwise.

                              • Hey... I don't think there's any way to tell either way....

Even with the old system... I've had at least two 1st Rounders (Top 10) to not make the show... and last year's Top 10 pick looking to follow that path.

It's such a gamble no matter what the system.
