And you can't compare the BLB draft to the MLB draft. The MLB draft's top few rounds are based entirely on how much money teams are willing to pay their picks. Everyone knows who the good players are. And that's why I'll go on the record as saying the implementation of the scouting system in this game combined with the draft pool is horrendous.
My scouting director doesn't think a single one of the outfield prospects is above a four in either contact, power, or eye. Does he favor ability? Sure. But should it ever be the case that a team's scouts don't think a single OF prospect in the draft will be a major league caliber player? No. That's ludicrous. If we're going to have a ridiculous scouting system, we should at least have high school and college stats at our disposal.
