Looks like Franklin lost a little something after his injury.

Will players like Latham and Paradis ever lower their contract requirements?

Stapley... who just signed with Philly for some insane amount lowered his contract demands by over half during the first week of the season... I signed him for six million within the first month of the year.

Last year I signed Ronnie Tribe for 500k when he was asking for $5,000,000. He just signed with Pitt for almost $4,000,000. There are definitely deals to be had at this point in the off-season. Just because they're asking for a certain amount doesn't mean you can't lowball them.

Brutal start to the year for my brutal team... yikes! I only play 17 home games in my first 55. Good Lord I could be 20 games back before I play my 20th home game. Doesn't bode well for attendence.

I've already given up a good season...even a decent one.... I have two decent pitchers... one average one... and garbage after that in the starting rotation. Once again... Virginia is for Losers.

Your unbridled optimism about all things Virginia astounds me.
