(perhaps that computer, like past voters dig the DL long ball)

Morla did however, take home his record setting seventh straight Designated Driver award at second base!
Disappointed to see Ingram win the DL Stout Slugger. Not even in the top five in WAR. Fourth in OPS. Below average defender in left.

I pointed out the same thing this morning. It looks like the demands are normalizing for the budgets and revenues.

I agree! It fits with the voting patterns the last few years though... Al Kelly and his 58 bombs were 6th in WAR and 3rd in OPS... Chicks (and apparently voters) did the long ball!

Maybe to counteract the stupid arbitration awards!

This class is pretty poor overall for high end talent. A lot of past their prime players. That might be part of it. Also those first few seasons had huge IFA demands mixed in.

Good point... but even a few of the lousy guys last year wanted a ton of money as well... The Kodiaks will be bargain hunting in the next few sims hopefully.

Agree with UMD. It's a huge merc class but only a handful of possible long terms players mixed in.

I agree. And I regret voting 'yes' to the original poll now.
What's done is done, but I think if this was ever revisited I would change my vote.

Despite the general consensus that I’m anti-change, I truly vote based on what I believe is in the best for the league as a whole.
