Well we did it. Bock Champs. First time since 2017!

Going full strength, besides #162, was probably unnecessary and cost us a few draft positions but I couldn't chance a four game lead with three against Phoenix. We also forgot ticket prices lock this sim...oh well. It's nice to have the first round bye.

Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs. We will be waiting our next opponent.

Lost another middle IF but doesn’t even matter. Playoffs were the goal so everything else is a bonus at this point. We have our rotation ready to go and hopefully these old timers have some playoff magic left.

Well the season is finally done in Kodiakland! Hopefully the draft pick tie breakers are kind to us, but I think we lose the three way tiebreaker... Stupid Indy splitting with us!

Good news is that my entire clubhouse is falling apart, and without naming names, they all appear to hate one guy... Hmm?!

This roster is getting a complete overhaul this offseason... We are dropping almost $80 000 000 in salary... Hopefully the FA class is solid and chip.

The good news is that Morla continues his march up the Kodiak career records list.

It's hard to believe a season where he finishes in the top five in BA, OBP, OPS, WAR, RC, H, TB, S, and BB feels like a down season.

For the fifth year in a row, he finished either first or second (Brookshear is a beast... and he killed California this year!) in total WAR.

We return our starters, Morla, Rizer, a few young guys, and then who knows at that point?!

It wasn't the most inspiring finish to the season for us, but at 106-56 this is the best regular season I've ever had, narrowly topping the 105 win team I had in 1981.

We'll now take the week off and wait for the winner of Baltimore and Carolina. Of the two, we've had much better success against the Bulldogs this season, but I'm counting on a very difficult series no matter who the opponent is.

I am happy to not have to play Batavia again this year. They've destroyed us practically every time.

Another enjoyable season in Montreal. Didn't expect to make the playoffs but had a pretty good start to the season when I was flirting with a .500 record by July.
The wheels came off, players were dealt and we look forward to picking in the top 10 again.

Contreras, who hit 34-bombs only 3 seasons ago, started on the pine, but hit pretty well once Gosser was dealt.
Filar was called-up in mid-August after some injuries and hit the snot out of the ball.
Fazlic nearly hit 30 dingers despite missing 30+ games and Maldonado impressed with both bat and glove.

As always, my pitching needs lots of help. There were some brightspots. After experimenting with Khalil Corey as a starting pitcher, he was put back into the bullpen as a setup guy where he didn't allow a single run in his final 26-appearances, spanning all of August, September and October.
Jamie Snyder, who flirted with the top-100 prospects list over the last two seasons, replaced struggling Grady Wente, hitting .293 and flashed a +2.1 ZR in 26 games.
Went has been a real disappointment. Dude was picked 22nd overall in 2020 and hit very well in 2023. He has also been a very capable defender on the hotcorner, but was a -2.7 this year. For shame!

All in all, I'm looking forward to 2025. My young bats seem to be progressing nicely. Now if only my young arms would do the same.
Jamie Glicksman, Adan Dunivant and Roman Vanderhoef could all be pitching in the majors by 2026 (hopefully along with Tom Jensen).

It won't be long before the BLB is getting a face full of Exports!

Pawtucket 101 wins and wins the Ale. Really didn't think in July we'd actually hold the division, yet here we are.

Lost Hammonds also for round one so the injuries are piling up at the wrong time. Still, Davis has 28 homeruns in 330+ at bats and tends to be our home starter.

Now its the moment we find out if pitching trumps hitting comes playoff time. #playoffcrapshoot

4-2 for the final week, and we were able to get some rest for the big guns going into the playoffs. We match up well against Carolina's RH heavy lineup in theory, but you never know who is going to show up in the playoffs. As Pat pointed out though, offensively we are relying pretty heavily on the play of young guys which is often not the best recipe for playoff success. On the other hand, we do have a lot of starting pitchers with playoff experience available in Bynum, Threatt, Blick and Dominguez.

The season has gone well as far as I'm concerned. As poorly as we started, we still have a decent chance to have 3 award winning players in CJ Stripling (IL Stout Slugger), Bruno Damours (IL New Brew), and Edwin Carrasco (IL Last Call). I kind of like the fact that we don't vote on awards anymore. It adds a bit more anticipation as to who will get the awards.

We didn't pull in nearly enough revenue this year as the fans gave up hope early and our gate revenue suffered. So despite cutting our expenses significantly this year, we didn't make as significant of a dent in our debt as expected. We can hope for a deep playoff run to cut a little bit but I'm not expecting much, especially after revenue sharing is removed.

Edit: Oh. And Baltimore's export is in. Congrats to all the playoff teams including Carolina and good luck to all teams except Carolina.
