4-3 week, Phoenix still two back. Probably going up come down to our two remaining series. SP Willie Fajardo seems to be pitching better now that he’s not trying to strike everyone out.

Playoff teams seem wrapped up just seeding up for grabs.

Kings of the Stout. We wrapped up the division title, our fifth in the past six years. We're still pretty far out in front for HFA throughout the playoffs, so it's just a matter of staying healthy for the next three weeks. The Bats franchise record for wins is 110, but I don't think we're quite going to get to that.

Omar Baber is hot right now. He got off to a great start before cooling off for a while, but seems to have found his swing again lately. It's a more limited amount of at bats, but he's had a career year in his first season as a Bat. Rookie 1B Dave Blackmon is swinging a hot Bat right now as well.

It's not all good news. Our fourth starter is struggling, which could be an issue in the playoffs. We also continue to struggle vs Batavia, who we could potentially see in the postseason.

Pawtucket 4-2. Went about as expected.

Like any division not Stout it should come down to the end. Toronto coming on a bit due to a extremely weak schedule which they have been taking advantage of. Be nice to win 100 games, but my guess is we pull a bit short on that mark. Still been a great season building on top of the 85 wins from a year ago. Are we true title contenders it hard to say. If the playoff reset runs pitching then heck yeah I'll take Kaufman , Baldwin, Carrasco, Einhorn bullpens vets Reeves & RJ Green versus most.

Would take a collapse from DV and Batavia to get smokin hot for you to see them. Pawtucket just happy Syracuse aint in the mix.

I've never seen a more cursed year. Now 6 guys "cold" with 5 starters hurt.

Good to see Pawtucket barely squeak into the playoffs.

                      Just for perspective....

If Washington wins 14 of their next 19, they would set the Bats regular season record for wins with 111. With everything clinched basically, I'm sure they will rest players down the stretch but still might break the record. Pretty impressive when you consider some of the Washington teams in the past.

If Carolina holds on, currently the #2 Wild Card, they would make the post-season for just the second time since 2014.

If Phoenix can pass Seattle, down two games, to with the Division, this would be only the 10th time the franchise has won their respective division, including three of the last four years.

If Death Valley holds on, currently the last WC spot, the Scorpions would make their first post-season since 2020.

Last season was feeling good going into Sept and we just ran out of gas. It's been 5 seasons being out so probably over cautious.

is there a way to take someone off the 40 man without losing them on waivers?

3-4 and about what I expected for the week considering we were playing Washington and New York (the two teams we struggle the most against) and the fact that Stripling was going to miss three of the seven games.

For whatever reason, it seems to be feast or famine with regards to our pitchers being able to keep the ball in the park. For the last few weeks we did an excellent job but this week, we gave up 9 home runs. While we are a decent team, true pennant contenders don't display this level of inconsistency. This will likely be our biggest issue if we make the playoffs.

Young infielder, Jared Baker makes his return to the lineup after being hurt for essentially the entire regular season this year. He showed some real promise in May when we were trying to figure out ways to right the ship and hopefully, the lengthy injury hasn't sapped away too much of his obvious talent.

It is going to be a sad day when we have to sell the best closer in baseball. Edwin Carrasco is playing well again and is a strong candidate to repeat as the IL Last Call winner. Carrasco doesn't seem interested in signing a new deal so someone will be the recipient of a potential HOF class closer due to poor financial management by the Baltimore GM if Carrasco doesn't change his mind soon.

Going forward, we play 13 of our final 19 games at home. We also will see Carolina 6 of those 19 games. We have done well to fight for a playoff spot but I want the boys to want to now fight for a series at home and give us a better chance to lose to Washington in the Divisional Round.
