If he's used against righties should be a decent find for your team. Scout had him 5-6-6-5-5 against righties.

Pawtucket 5-1. Nice recovery week. Unfortunately Pitt not Tor is going to ease up so we need to keep pushing, but hey were here fighting for it.

Good ole Ale, never a dull moment.

Based on the last two seasons in California, it’s hard to believe the injury settings are on low... Nothing kills the enjoyment of OOTP like injuries to the middle of your order.

Amazed that I passed you in the standings without Rivera, Smith, and Sedivec slugging in the middle of my order.

I've had seasons where in the heat of a playoff race I lost basically 3/5 of my rotation. Yes it does suck, but its kind of reality right? (See Mets past few seasons, hell see Cubs last season) This is where having a deep team sort of pays off.

Also remember lefty hitters usually won't fare well playing at Pawtucket unless they are simply amazing.

Kind of. I still think our injury settings are out of whack.

What you're describing is an MLB where every team suffers injuries and some teams suffer worse and/or more injuries.

What we have now is a BLB where some teams endure bad and/or a lot of injuries while other teams face virtually no injuries.

All due respect, your club — which is more talented than mine on paper — has suffered 4 day-to-day injuries and 4 injuries where players missed time. Only one of them (Douglas) missed as many as 25 games and he is the only full-time starter in your lineup who missed any time due to injury this year. At most you've had one start from a rotation pitcher lost to injury.

Or Pittsburgh, another team that is better than mine on paper, but still, has had 3 day-to-day injuries and 3 injuries where players missed time. They've lost O'Hearn (a star) for a month and an okay infielder, for a month. That's it.

Meanwhile my team has endured 8 day-to-day injuries and 8 injuries where players missed time. My three best hitters — all recent All-Stars — have lost four months, two months, and one month, respectively, to serious injuries.

To have to figure out how to navigate that crisis while other teams I'm competing with have basically no injuries sucks.

Again, not to say that those clubs don't deserve to be ahead of Maine in the standings. They do.

My point is that the distribution of injuries in this league leads to very damaged clubs having to compete with very healthy clubs, as opposed to a more realistic MLB-style distribution where very damaged clubs must keep up with teams that are also damaged, but less so. The injury playing field is more level in real life.

I don't know that we urgently need to change something, but I do see at as one of the aspects of the league that isn't handled terribly well.

Not that I can think of but Mike was probably ejected in his first game as GM.

I think this is it in a nutshell. Very random overall, as a league, but seemingly debilitating (yet still in the playoffs for Maine) to certain teams, while not catching other teams at all.

Currently a game and a half back of the Dinos — an impressive club whose only serious injury has been to a negative-WAR player — for the fourth Wild Card spot.

Hopefully it hasn’t passed... With the Gosser injury my whole pitching staff will be on the market.
