New addition Gosser batted 0.364 this week, yet more importantly, the three batters in front of him...

Fiume 0.333 with 8 runs scored
Redding 4 home runs and 11 RBI
Morla 0.611 and Player of the Week

A terrible loss by the bullpen prevented us from having a great 5-1 week. Hopefully this new offence continues.

Anyone else want to send me a hitter? Ratley followed up Ackers 3HR debut with 3HR of his own.

We really crapped in the bed this week. We gave 14 home runs in NY and Washington.

Carolina is promoting not one but two OF prospects this upcoming sim.

Jimmy Bolger was a 2nd round pick in 2022. He can actually play defense which is a change from the Tobs outfield of the past. I expect an average bat but with good speed, defense and a bit above average power; he can be very useful for the playoff push.

Fred Penfield was drafted late in the 2nd last season. He's hit over .300 at every level and since I can never seem to find that CF, off the the majors he goes. He's the same as Bolger. Average bat, got power, no eye and is speedy with good defense.

Are they coming up too soon? Who knows. But something must be done about the anemic Tobs offense as they push for a home wild card game.

If he was a corner OF, I would be interested but with Ratley, I'm tied up at 1B.

Surprise... Another arm injury in California... My trainer is excellent or better everywhere and poor in preventing arm injuries and that one aspect is decimating my entire system.

Dusty Thompson's home in Windy City has been robbed, the second baseman has told media.

"They took pretty much everything, completely cased the place," said the 23-year-old grimly. "I'm not sure if it was someone who knew I was a pro ballplayer or just a random thing, but it feel terrible either way."

Thankfully, Thompson said, his family wasn't home during the incident.

"We can replace possessions, but no one was hurt, that's the main thing."

Oliver Davis said morale around the clubhouse is low, but they are trying to band together to help Thompson through the situation.

"We're all bummed out, but happy he's OK and hopefully they can catch the guy who did this," he said.

                            The guy just moved in!
