Pawtucket 3-3. Can live with it. Didn't think we'd win this series with PItt for two reasons. #1 Couldn't get Kaufman to face Pitt. Just how it goes sometimes. #2 Took a real gamble SP Chris Aguilar "Hot" status. 3 of his past 4 games were in the pen, it wasn't real, yet there I am using him against that vaunted lineup. Not saying it would of affected the outcome, but just always shows need to use your gut.

In the end I'm probably more upset we lost an extra inning game to Hartford which could of given us a 4-2 week. RF Brendon Lanoie back for the IR. He will be coming off the bench and spelling Wanzer when the matchups say so.

Draft news: SP T.J. Rountree debuted at #62. This was expected since he was showing in the top 8 on our draft board. We added some depth to our Orgs top 20 with 2 pitchers and 2 hitters. We also have one or two bullpens arms we liked from this draft. Happy with the picks. Now lets see what type of hits occur as the season unfolds.

      Thanks, Brad.

Just a miserable week. 2-5 at home against two tough Ale foes. Last week's season-ending injury to star third baseman Izzy Rivera was followed by this week's near-season-ending injury to star outfielder Zachary Smith.

Hard to stay afloat in this division now.

Philly gets our first ever No-hitter! Tom Driggs throws a 10K no-hitter in game 1 of our NY series and then Ron Bynum followed that up with a 4 hit shutout. Stop by anytime NY!

It was a 6-1 week for the Bats. We won all 4 against Baltimore before taking 2 of 3 in Batavia. My lineup feels like it's coming to life the past couple weeks, while the pitching remains a constant.

I'm really hoping this is the year that Roger Villasenor makes his first All-Star team. I'm also starting to believe Alexis Moran might actually make it as well, which is much crazier to me. Certainly wasn't expecting that, but it looks like a weak field in CF right now.

Remember to take the time out to find your next Tom Driggs in FA. Do not let Pat sign 150 guys to cherry pick everyone with potential.

Also, it does look like all non drafted HS either go to college or give up on their baseball dreams because I don’t see anyone under the age of 20 in FA.

I went back into the utility to check the guys I had left in my list and sure enough, all the HS are either gone or went to college or Cape Cod.

I’m sure many of you knew that but it is nice to see it verified for myself.

Doesn't work the way it use to due to "signing bonus", but YES this is the time to find the diamond on the rough.

                        add the pro tip clown.

If you have any spare change laying around, use it to give the minor leaguers a bonus and have them more likely to sign with your squad.

I’m still broke but I’m hat doesn’t mean I’m going to let Mike, Pat, Liquid, UMD, Matt, and you run the table on this FA class.

                              Seattle (5-2)
                              2-2 @ DVS
                              3-0 @ DEN

Two games up on Phoenix who we face for a 3-game series to open next sim. The pitching has been better while the lineup continues to produce. I think the Bock will go down to the final week but we are playing a lot better than the Roadrunners recently.

Debuting Top 100 or even Org Top 20 doesn't mean what it used to but seeing Robby Caddell not debut on my organizational Top 20 is a bit concerning. My scout got a new report on him and he lost a potential rating point on movement and control. However, his batting ratings remain intact and when I move him to 1B, he actually appears as the #18 prospect in my organization. Either way, fun prospect.
