I agree. My scout doesn't have a very positive view of this kid or OSA. Yet...he batted .304 since coming from Philly and now look at him. He's also batting .404 on the road so toss out stadium factors.

Being in the same division my hope is he falls back to earth and same with Maine. Goes to show ratings sometimes can be tricksy. I keep waiting for a +2 contact increase on my scouting report.

One day I'll have a player that plays like a star. Maybe.

Sully is just playing with you. Would be nice to see another 1st place team though even if its just for a bit.

For the first time in roughly 3 seasons Morla is not the #1 player in the league. MacDonough is a beast

The key is that we were able to repair our team morale before it was too late.

CJ Stripling is now a seasoned 23 year old, 5 year veteran in the league, and is a monster to pitch against. He moved from the late teens all the way up to #5 on the Top Players List in the last couple of weeks.

Kleinman, Abadee, Carrasco, and Kamiya make it damn hard for our opponents to mount any kind of comeback once we get a lead.

Damours may have a year or two before his real power stroke comes in but in the meantime, he's using his OOTP Gods' given talent at the top of the lineup. He's got the speed and he's still getting better as a defender at first base. If he reaches his full potential, I don't think we will have seen a first baseman do the things he'll be capable of in 2-3 years. The scariest thing is that HE is rated at the best player on our team (according to the Meet The Team page) with Stripling doing work.

Plus, we have 15 or 16 guys 25 years old or younger on our 25 man roster, which makes it even more awesome to see the guys respond like this.

I'm not sure we'll be able to keep this kind of streak going forward but I won't lie, it feels damn good to be out of the basement.

Stripling is coming for that #1 position.

Very impressive. The IL Wild Card #6 spot is only two games out of reach. Pretty crazy when you consider how poor the Bulldogs started. Not to mention the #1 and #2 WC spots belonging to two surprise teams in Carolina and Philadelphia, it's not out of the question that Baltimore could finish with a pretty decent seed by years end.
