Is our league file just corrupt? We've been having issues for years, maybe it's just a matter of everything catching up to us?

I think that's likely. I hear of a lot of leagues that are running without issues but most of them weren't started with OOTP 2006.

I think it is... Andrew needs to confirm that it's ready. He wasn't sure that all the steps have been taken. He's obviously been busy on the main file.

As soon as Andrew has a second to look at it... we can push forward.

Made some progress...

Markus finally took a look at our files.

Problem 1 - Stuck in Off-Season
He tried to re-add the dates but completely butchered it. Pre-season was listed twice, playoffs were 2 days after the regular season, trade deadline was in 1986, etc. I sent the files back with the issues to see if he'll be able to fix it. I also sent them to Tony M on the ootp boards who is going to take a crack at it as well.

Problem 2 - Retired players disappearing
Markus looked at this as well and said he can't fix it. However, I'm starting to think of a way I might be able to. The players are in the retired.dat but they have no stats associated with them. We have the ability to import stats, so why can't we just activate the players, import the stats and then retire them again (editing the history to make sure the original retire date is kept)? We might be able to export the stats from my old league files or we might have to input them manually. I'm going to figure out if importing will actually work, and then we'll work on compiling the stats if it does. I'll probably need help with that part.
