Took Jamie Glickson. Not exactly sold on him, but I liked him better than the other 2 arms I was looking at.
Friggin Baltimore! I should be Grab-assing right now!

I really dug Glickson , but like another pitcher he's one unlucky dice roll from being a RP. Just can't chance it.

I took Oklahoma SP Robby Caddell here. He's got a week left of recovery from Tommy John surgery and missed this entire season. So there is risk there. But he's a lefty, 6-6-6 potential from OSA and my scout, decent velocity, groundball and four plus pitches. He's also a big guy 6'4 220.
Oh...and he also might be a great hitter. My scout has him 76645, OSA 66747.
Could be a huge bust. But he should sure be fun to develop.

Obvious similarities between Caddell and Louisville 1B/LHP Brendan McKay, a top pick in the 2017 MLB Draft.
Although as Pat mentioned, Caddell is coming off Tommy John and his hitting is purely theoretical. He didn't actually hit or play the field in college.
Tell you what, though I'm never a huge fan of drafting first baseman until round 2 1B Joy-shan Guo is going to be a freaken monster in a few short seasons. My scout 7-6-7-5-7 and his actuals already are a 5-6-5-5-5. Love this kid.

I did like that kid but I'm pretty stocked at 1st for a while so had to pass. You got a keeper there. Of course my liking him could be considered the kiss of death. Figuratively though, unlike that guy in Montreal where it would be literally.

It was actually New Orleans, but he was someone I was just eyeing. I think first baseman get a bad rap yet they tend to impact the game more then most positions. (See Seattle)

They impact the game if they're a truly transcendent hitter the way Ulloa or Owens or Frederick are. It becomes a challenge when you find yourself overvaluing someone who is not in that tier.
