    • I think it's a good draft all around. Very happy to have made four picks.

        This time, not so much.
You can have my 3.23 for a 3rd next year! Post it up!

No for sure Aces , nut a few potiental ones. It's more feast or famine versus solid 3-5 starters. Good year for bullpen.

          • In the end, it's above average draft. As far as pitchers go most pitchers in other world bomb more then hitters, I expect the same from this years draft.

              • I have two guys in mind with the pick coming up. If I can come away with them- I’m going to be very, very pleased with my draft

I will be very interested to see how his development turns out.

                  • Davenport, you have to nickname Boof Gerrits "Teen Wolf"

Yeah, I'm OAF and just threw in a 30-year old Teen Wolf reference.

                    • Went with Adan Dunivant but I can't say I'm in love with this pick.
There are a few other guys I like, but it's crazy how far off my scout and OSA are on most of them.

                      • Well, my list picked my third straight DH... I made a complete mess of this draft... In hindsight, I should have just overpaid for power last season when my starters were dominant. I didn’t figure it would be enough to match KC last year’s... Oops!

                        • I traded back into the third round to select Micah Clayton, a center fielder from Pacific. He's been really high on my list for a while now - I looked at him in round one before going with Bert Garza. Though I didn't choose him with my second round picks, I see his value as being too high to keep passing up so I made the move to get him. I see him as a solid bat with top-notch ability in CF, just a really good all-around player if it works out. A couple of negatives I saw - he's pretty dumb and he's not as developed as I would like to see from a college player. But, I figured he'd be off the board a long time ago, so I'm happy to have him. I'm pretty set with my current group of outfielders at the BLB level, but him and Garza will hopefully make for a solid future.

Not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing.

It's true Efren Edwards probably can't stick behind the plate in the pros. But with those infield defense ratings, he'll become quite a good defensive first baseman with experience. Guessing a six position rating there.

Dante Timms should become an average defensive first baseman. It's possible he could even play left field, depending on where exactly his outfield range rating ends up.

Jayden Dean looks like a fine catcher. He needs more reps, but he's only 17 and he's smart. He'll be okay.

Maybe we have vastly different definitions of drafting a DH. To me, it means picking someone like Robby O'Neal or J.R. Rhoads, who don't have the defensive chops to even handle first base adequately.
