            Pilots are in.

Good luck to Sully and all the remaining teams.

            --

Seattle wins their first playoff series in Game Three, bottom of the 9th, with a walk off 2-out, 2-run home run from catcher Ted Sandy against Baltimore closer Edwin Carrasco. I sure hope Carrasco can recover psychologically. In all three games 4-0, 1-3, 2-0, pitching and defense was rampant, Shark.

We gave it all we had but it wasn’t enough. Blick gives us 8 IP and 0 ER against one of the more potent offenses in the IL. Not much you can do when your star closer gives up a walk off but tip your hat to Ted Sandy and the Seattle org.

We’re not going to renew a few contracts and I’m offering a simething for anyone who is willing take DJ Gosser’s last year. Gosser is still tough to pitch against as a RHP and an extremely popular player to boost revenue.

Hell of a year for the Bulldogs when you consider the injuries, the slumps from a few key players, the trades mid-season, the call-up of the youngest star in the BLB and pushing us to the limit as the underdog. Cheers Delandis.

The Maine Guides announce the unceremonious firing of scouting director Don McNeill.

While we were going to politely let his contract expire at the end of the season, enough is enough.

Mr. McNeill, who has admittedly been an effective scouting director, has been completely unwilling all season to even discuss a contract extension.

Now he's going to the media to blabber about how he wants a contract extension. http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ews_11348.html

And yet, despite going to the press, he still says privately he's not open to discussing a new contract.

                      Fuck Don McNeill.

I imagine if this was real life, I'd be balls deep in a bottle of liquor by now.

However, I can't be mad about this year. Figured I'd flirt with a playoff spot, but I didn't see this team winning 96 games. The young core of my team is starting to take shape, and I look forward to running it back next year.
