Disappearing personnel contract extensions?

I'm not sure what to do — should I try to extend them again?

I'd like to see if we can figure this thing out before we advance the sim.

I don't know if we will be able to figure it out. I looked in the OOTP forums and there doesn't appear to be anything. I looked at who I lost and didn't end up offering them extensions.

It seems that a lot of teams went from 2024 to 2023 though. But with 2023 over in the minors I wonder if it will change back to 2024 at the season flip. Maybe just screen shot your team and if you lose anyone then we can edit them back on.

We can move forward with the sim. I'd just like to make sure we acknowledge and discuss this issue so if it causes greater problems, we're prepared to come up with a solution.

In the meantime I'm going to try offering extensions to those coaches again.

I couldn't remember if my minor league staff was signed for another year or not, but I think I'm seeing the same thing with it now showing the contracts running through 2023 when it should be 2024. I didn't lose anyone or have contracts actually expire, so no harm yet.

I did go ahead and send out of extension offers, I don't know if that was necessary or not.

I looked back a few SIMs and could see your (Maine) extensions and they say 2024.

I had a similar issue, and just resubmitted for them... I thought it was just old age on my part, but apparently not...

Notable thing I didn't realize the last time around:

On the personnel screen, when I view the whole organization, I do not see any sign of the minor league extensions. It says the contracts are signed only through 2024.

When I change the dropdown from SHOW: Entire Organization to SHOW: Major League Personnel, and then I navigate from there through each of the minor league affiliates, it appears that the coaches' contracts have been extended.

So on the first screen for the whole organization, it says the contracts run through 2024. But on the personnel screens for each affiliate, it shows contracts through 2025/2026/2027.

Anyone else seeing this same thing?

Yes, I'm seeing that the same.

Last sim was when personnel that didn't have extensions left your organization. Anyone still signed today, well in the minors, will be with your organization for 2025.
