      Thanks, Brad.

I really think Tom Mackey ruined our season. Never again will I downplay the importance of keeping your clubhouse in order and listening to the warning signals— -- even when things are going well.

Real American Hero Steve Suarez is at 3,477 hits now, just a few away from moving into second place all-time. The record is still within striking distance this year.

We fired our manager, John LaForge. The Big Stick, Bao Cahn, who I believe is the only manager to win titles with different franchises in back-to-back seasons, takes the reins.

With our season in tatters, it's mostly about playing some younger guys, seeing if we can lay a decent foundation heading into next year, and hope Suarez can get the hits record.

Pawtucket 3-3. Eh.....keeps us in the hunt which is the goal to be there fighting for it come September. Lost a few close games to Hartford, but then came back home and took two of three from Maine (Out of my way Z)

Fans are back in full force even after a few price bumps and the media market is projected 64ml. Can't complain about that.

Farm system moves back into the top 10. Boyle & Wanzer will be back up in September so expecting a decent drop off then.

Probably my first "gritty" team I've had playing above .500 baseball. Its been fun. Were still a few years away form being an actual elite team. (I hope)

          Thanks Brad!

5-2 sim: 3-1 v DVS, 2-1 v PHO - Arguably our best sim of the year. The IL Wild Card is pretty insane right now and the division leading Roadrunners are starting to look human.

LF Manny Nieto is red hot since moving to the leadoff spot taking home IL POTW while hitting six home runs including a 3-HR affair against DVS. In 76 leadoff PA, he's now hitting .347/1.257.

Our Single-A and Triple-A teams made the post-season, while in Double-A we finished one game back of the division despite going 13-4 the final month and 5-0 this sim. Unfortunately, we did lose 1.26 CL Ian McManus (A) to a broken elbow.

Weird week for us: got swept in a 3 game set @BAL, turn around and sweep the division leading Bats in 4 games at home. .

Run differential of +16 for the week. Pat Evans' transition to a pitch-to-contact SP seems to be settling in; he's been in a decent groove over the last month or so.

Two straight weeks with SEI's to an infielder. Darn. Just finally turned it around.

My starters allow four runs in 5 games against Dallas and Kansas City and we go... 1-4!

                        Thats just wrong...

3-4, as we had the opposite week from Philadelphia. Swept 3 in Carolina, swept in 4 in Philly. Division lead stands at 11 games, so not a lot of damage done there.

Pitching struggled a bit in Philly, but I think we should be ok. Calligan looked fine in his return to the rotation.

Our trades lowered our payroll a little bit. That's great news. Profitability is the ultimate goal here in DC. It's our highest ambition.
