I have 5 of the first 55 picks this year. I'm hoping for a better class than last season.

      12th overall pick!!!

I haven't picked this high since 1981, when I selected CF Michio Nago 8th overall a year after finishing the season 72-90. This year, I won the Stout, and I'm still picking in the top half of every round.

      Yessss!!!

I really hope this is the last time I draft in the top 3 for awhile. I'm liking the 5 picks in the top 50 or so picks.I don't have a 4th or 6th though, but with that many picks in the early rounds, I prob wouldn't have room anyways.

I'm starting to develop some young arms. Luis Migul Gutierrez, Sammy Homer, and the BLB-established Don Stevens are the Generation K for my team this generation. Who knows how good they will be though? Homer got hurt early last year and barely pitched. Guiterrez kinda plateaued at AA last year, granted he was only 19. Stevens had his ups and downs but finished strong on the season.

Will I go pitching or position player? We'll find out when I see this draft list but its not going to be an easy decision.

I'm going all pitching this year. I might look for a couple of other infield positions but I think I'm going to be all right next year once that once my money gets back on track and the Skeriks finish developing.

Just a quick note. Now that each team only has one scout, please do not discuss (privately or publicly) your scouts ratings of players until AFTER the player is drafted.

You were on the Beta team for the new scouting right? Anything you can tell us? I mean, now that we have one scout, are the chances of them being "close" to accurate improved?

Depends on how accurate your scout is with scouting amateurs as well as how he likes his players... i.e. tools or ability.

OSA is going to have to be my reliable scout #2.

So do we use a list in game like the rule V or are we using the utility again?
