Back to 11 games over .500.

    Good first half for Denver.

Salazar makes a second straight ASG.
And Banuelos makes his first appearance since 2015. Amazing first half for the 36-year-old. He has been a big part of our first half. Not sure where our offense would be without him.

Shop DVS for all your playoff needs. Kaufman could be a huge pickup for someone, Scott and McPherson too.

          Thanks, Brad.

Steve Suarez moved past the Missing Link, Harry Keppel, for third place on the career hits list. 38 more to pass Jose Guzman for second all-time.

Pawtucket 4-2. Really should of won the first game at Dallas, but happy with the sweep of California a wild card leader at the moment. Any bit helps.

Overall content with our first half performance.

1B Johnny Schara having a nice rookie season team leader with 18 HRs

2nd year pitchers SP Marco Carrasco & J.D. Einhorn were nightmares as rookies, but both former top 20 prospects seem to be getting it. Helps having SP Dave Kauffman leading the way.

Very quietly rebuilt our outfield thru trades past few seasons with RF Brendon Lanoie , CF C.J. Hoechst, LF Dave 'Dutch' Coady.

Though our bullpen has alot to be desired at the moment veterans CL Brendan Watts & SU Zack Reeves are holding they're own.

Despite the trading of prospect were still in the top 10 at the moment. We really have some nice depth working there right now.

            Finally...WERE NOT BROKE!!!!

See what the second half holds for us, but its nice to be somewhat competing for the first time in 3-4 seasons. Fun times.

              Thanks Brad.

Seattle goes 2-1 @ New York and Carolina. Both losses only scoring one run.... #parkfactors. The 4-2 week puts the Pilots as the #3 Wild Card and .5 above Baltimore/Batavia.

SP CJ McVicker is really good by the way.

We trade two key guys and no sweat obviously.

We go 4-2 including taking 3 of 4 in Phoenix. Might have to pause the fire sale until we see where this goes after the All-Star break.

Impressed with Hartford being 20 games above .500 with that horrid defense. Nicely done. Goes to show there are any number of ways to win in this league.

A 4-2 week for the Bats means that we hold our position in the division. We finished our long homestand at 9-3, so good work done on our home field to build the division lead heading into All-Star Week.

Only three All-Stars in DC this year - Carroll, Yonke and Roseboom.

Dave Patterson leads the DL in ERA and didn't make the all star team this is a farce
