Now, keeping a healthy guy on the DL for a year? Mike, that's overboard. You have to know that. A professional team wouldn't do that.
    15. FAIR PLAY
    • All fair play issues should be brought to the attention of the Commissioner.
    • As a General Rule, everything you do should be for the betterment of your organization. You should run your team as an actual Baseball team would. In most cases, common sense should prevail.
    • Potential Issues Include, but are not limited to:
      • Placing players on the 60 day DL that aren't injured for an extended period of time.

Anyone who has an issue with keeping healthy players on the disabled list should feel just as opposed to the DFA purgatory I spent years trying unsuccessfully to get rid of.

We never got rid of that?

You're like the BLB cockblock. It's really lame.

I guess I get what you're trying to do but you get super sensitive any time somebody does or says something you disagree with and then you try to throw your weight around to get rules changed to reflect your ideas.

What rule is he trying to get changed? The rule about not leaving players on the DL is already there. I don't understand what's so difficult about not going out of our way to exploit the game engine and just fucking play the game as it was meant to be played.

I thought we got rid of it by making it so players can't refuse a demotion to the minors. Now that you can just put anyone on your AAA/AA teams, there's no reason to keep someone permanently on DFA.

As for (non) injured players staying on the DL forever, it seems there's already a rule against doing it. It's hard to get too up in arms over fringe minor league players. I know that I'm not perfect about getting guys off the DL immediately, but when they've been healthy for months, or even years it looks like, they should have to be moved somewhere.

Yeah. I'm not.seeing the issue here. I don't see a valid argument for how this should be acceptable. The rule is already in place.

That's a slightly different rule which is why I didn't mention it.

The player was injured and placed on the 7 day and left there.

The rule being quoted is placing a healthy player on the 60 day DL.

I think, however, me telling Mike that I don't agree with the move is enough to suggest I agree with you though.

We made that change and yet people still abuse DFA purgatory.

                        Lol exploit the game engine.

there's a lot I'd like to say. But it's just not worth it anymore. Hopefully the waiting list is full.

It's more repeated passive-aggressive remarks aimed at certain people who play the game differently. I just don't get the umbrage. No need for him to troll people and chase them away.

If you want a minor leaguer in someone else's system, trade for them.
