Pawtucket 4-3 again. We continue to turtle along which I guess is a good thing.

Happy about our 17-11 June. We just need to weather those poor week sims we know that comes from time to time. Not sure why we still suck at home, but we will keep working at it. Lost an extra inning to Syracuse that really is irking me right now.

Dave 'Dutch' Coady player of the week and starting to become the kid I envisioned when we traded for him last season. Kid is really only 25 so his best years have yet to come.

    Pawtucket 2023.....slow progress.

Welp, back at the bottom of the standings with a bunch of one run losses. Looks like it's gonna be another selling season. At least there's about 5 players ready to come up after the allstar break. If you need BLB help shop DVS.

2-4 and I have absolutely no idea why we can no longer hit.

We hit .170 for the week. It is embarrassing.

                    Something like that.

This has the feeling of an 81-81 team...which actually might be good enough for the last wild card spot in the IL.

3-3. Hitting just isn't our thing right now. Roseboom and Douglas did a nice job setting the table, but nobody stepped up beyond them. We did have one nice highlight, with Tom Roseboom hitting for the cycle, finishing it with a walkoff HR to beat Phoenix.

Just bounces. We scored like 8 runs all week and went 4-2. Your offense was only slightly worse than mine this week.

Really fun sim in terms of result. This week there was an addition to the top players list. 2B Pat Vickers sneaks his way onto the list, joining Jamie O'Hearn and Joey Cook. It's cool to see, and the way he's played he's deserved it.

Small lineup change and the the boys responded with a 5-1 week. Our 2-4 is set now with an eye to the future. 23 year old SS Geoff Kelly has locked down the 2 hole, 24 year old Dave Girard has moved from C to purely DH, because it looks like his bat has a chance to actually come through. I'd rather have him focus on hitting and utilize Nick Guerra (of Windy City fame) and Geoff Brown in the 9 hole giving strong defense behind the plate. Behind him in the 4 spot is Joey Cook, who's really solidifying himself as a really good player. These three players, along with some guys in the upper levels of the minors are our future core guys and I'm pleased to see them taking the steps into growing up. With them flanked by Vickers in the 1 hole, and O'Hearn in the 5 spot, we have a really nice top of the order.

If we can start hitting consistently, with the way our pitching is rounding into shape, we could certainly be a dangerous team this season.
