Seems to me that there's a pretty large performance drop off from AAA to ML. My guys who killed it from A to AAA are struggling hard in the ML's.

These days "growing pains" are very common like most would. Before you can bring up top 100s and I'd say 50% of them would be able to step right in.

Last season Pawtucket had two top 20 pitching prospects be called up, I top 60 pitcher and ALL pretty much bombed. Seems one is better in year #2, one still has some growing up to do and one I'm gonna find out this week (He's been in the bullpen) I had a few call ups here and there of hitters and again same result. Really need some patience these days.

Wonder if having them play some more in AAA then bring them back up would be a good idea. But yeah, I see what you're saying about 50% stepping right in. Either way, I'm likely just going to let these guys ride it out and see what happens. My SP Swartwood had a few tough seasons before finally picking it up this year, and I'm going to keep starting him even with his 4 stamina.

Again, I think more realistic... Most guys need more time... Remember this guy... He spent a huge chunk of his first four major league seasons get shipped back and forth to the minors before turning into a study for the next ten years...

Osa has him 6/7/5, my scout is similar at 6/6/6. 6'4 LHP with a high work ethic should fit into the nice group of young arms in developing. Adding him and Rushin through the first two rounds is encouraging. The talent level in our minor league levels continues to grow.

I haven't figured out our big league club just yet. We haven't hit yet, mainly because I haven't figured out a lineup balance that I like, our starters have been okay, but we find ourselves in first place at this point. The bullpen is outrageous, and we will welcome back RJ Green here this month. It's comforting to know that we've got the needed depth with arms in the pen, so if we're able to figure out the other parts of the squad we should be good for another quick postseason appearance.
Nice pick! Hopefully Rushin develops... He seemed to hit a bit of a wall with California.
