Hillert and Maravilla both got screwed with the version change. Maravilla was a top ten prospect until the version change when dropped into the 60's and then out. Guess the previous version favored catchers while this one loves centerfielders

Yeah, that catcher fiasco was BS. Both were top notch prospects.

I did it once. Eron "Pistol" Deleon was a really good player and was a face of my franchise. Maybe even a borderline HOF'er.

He also wasn't as good as the guy picked #2 (Gaston).

Still, it was fun to pick #1. I also got to set some records for futility when I fully put the team in the ditch during 1991.

Lets get back to that criminal Hank just got.

Oh Pawtucket had a nice there in the late 00s

          1st C Dave 07
2nd SP Talley, 6th SP Mitchell 'Beanpole' 08
          2nd SP Mcdade 09

Funny story on Talley he was considered a risk at the time due to being fragile and a few thought 'Crabman' or 'Eager Beaver' should of gone at 2. Also considered 'Beanpole' but he slipped to 6 anyway.

Mcdade to me was clearly the 1 best player and was thrilled when Cali chose Arbini.

Not to pull a UMD or anything....

But 1.3 and 1.4 just went and Seattle is on the board. Draft goes live at 8AM EST and that's usually when I wake up with the baby. Let me know if anyone wants to trade for the pick. Open to moving down or for prospects/young BLBers.

                  According to my scout...

                  James 1.1
                  Bamford 1.2
                  Wilson 1.10
                  Morgan 1.16

No wonder my first round picks since my old scout retired seem to fall into oblivion.

Waking up. Drinking coffee. Responding to PMs. Changing diapers.

Hopefully pick will be in soon or I'll find a trade partner.

My scout had Morgan at 1.16 also. Maybe I reached a bit.

My scout really liked Morgan, but had him rated lower as well.
But I find scouts put too much onus on position and fielding ratings.
For example, my scout has Chaz "LEEERRROOOY" Jenkins 3rd on his list despite projecting him as a 4/5/5/3/6 hitter.
But hey! He has an 8-rating at CF and 8/6/6 Defensive ratings.
So clearly his minor league bat is not something to worry about.

Also, there is a pitcher with insane projections who my scout feels will be a HoF pitcher, and yet he doesn't even have him listed in his top 50.

                              Sorry again for delay.

I'm on baby duty and she's teething bad, so I haven't been able to put her down for the last 2.5 hrs.

Finally sitting down now. Pick/trade should be in here soon.
