Five pitchers and five hitters for the Bats this year.
On the hitting side, there's one catcher, one outfielder and three infielders by their listed position. My top hitting pick, Jaylin Alexander is the only outfielder, but he's got work to do to find a position going forward. Two of the infielders, Murata and Borowski, can both field at least 6 positions at a decent level, so we should be able to find at bats for everyone. Of the pitchers, three are right-handed.
Five of my picks this year came from the high school league, which is probably the most I've ever taken from there. It means that I'll have to be pretty patient with this group, but most of them were late-round picks that have low probabilities of success anyway. I'm hoping that the extra time in my minor league system will pay off for one or two (why I'm thinking this is likely I have no idea).
All in all, I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with. I think my top three picks, Dave Richardson, Jaylin Richardson, and Geoff Schminkey all have a chance to be very good players.
I landed both players named Richardson, which must count for something. I also got three Daves, and we could always use more Daves.Washington Bats, 2013-

And FC- well done, although I would prefer him under 6'7. The 6'3-6'7 range is ideal.
P.s.. kershaw...sale...price...miller...bumgarner....cha pman...ray (6'2 throws ched) there's some pretty filthy lefties in the game right now and the best ones meet that criteria so, you know, like don't knock it because there's a pretty thought out explanation behind it.Last edited by mike; 09-21-2017, 10:37 PM.
