Also remember OOTP has season to season variation in it. What works today doesn't work tomorrow. Ever notice the same lineup that worked so well last season if you leave it alone basically blows up in your face the next season??

Lets see if this stays on "CHICK LOVE LONG BALL" mode for long. Something tells me we won't see as much this season.

Then again we've been below .500 for three seasons now so what do I know??

We embraced the suck this week going 2-5 including being on the wrong end of a no-hitter. Jacob Stokes was a bit less then impressive in his first start so we'll continue to monitor his progress. Meanwhile my AAA club continues on its domineering ways and are now 12-1. Joey Hargis is 3-0 with a 1.89 ERA so that ho-hum trade I made that picked him may work out after all.

                3-3. We will take it.

Losing Spalding for the year hurts.

4-1 week gets us over .500. Starting pitching has been excellent so far.

4-2 and it's obvious that this team will have to fight tooth and nail to stay atop the insanely competitive Stout. However, I do think we can compete as constructed as long as we stay healthy.

It seems OF Bereket Asiku gets pissed pretty quickly when he doesn't feel like he's starting as often as he should. We'll have to fix that and make him our everyday starting going forward.

Rookie 3rd baseman, Jarrod Baker showed that his power may be finally coming around with an impressive walk off. GRAND SLAM to outlast the Riders in the first game of the series.
