This happens to me every season, unless I run the SIMs.

I propose a rebate (I've kicked around the idea before internally). Each and every team would receive a baseline rebate of an equal amount.

We head into the spring with 102 projected wins. With healthy we should be a very good team.

The rotation is a small question mark but has the potential to be very good. Pryor (R) steps into the ace role because of his leadership and since he's been here the longest, followed by Tom Murray (L) who moved from RP to SP and will be fascinating to see how many Ks he gets in 70 more innings, the recently acquired Tommy Bartholomew (R) who surprisingly pops up on the Predictions page, Ivan Sepulveda (R), Sepulveda looks to build off his 1.93 ERA last postseason and take that next step and former top prospect and 6'7 Pat Conlee (L).

The pen should be lights out, the ninth will be handled by Diego 'Red' Lovera, and set up by Ted Hatch, RJ Green and CJ Cohen.

The lineup is set as Vickers (2B), Cook (3B), Stoll (1B), O'Hearn (RF), Garcia (DH), Syzmanski (LH), Girard (C), Geoff Kelly (SS) and Jackson Simmons (CF) - the last two are making their ML Opening Day debuts

      should be a good season.

I agree and I'm also really eager to see how Pittsburgh extricates itself from its $60 million budget deficit.

I got a $100 million deficit... No one is even asking for Orbon, Driggs, Collins... So still impress how he does it.

It'll happen naturally. That's the part I love the best. You can just cycle it out and it'll happen.

I'm eager to see how Pittsburgh extricates itself from the deficit because I expect he'll do it somehow.

I'm not sure what a good solution would be since we don't typically edit things like this.

But, like Matt said, to get hit with an extra $3 million or so that I wasn't planning to spend is pretty annoying.

Its really cool how he does it. I think one major reason is he doesn't fall in love with his players the way it can happen to some owners. Zero feelings most of the time, he acts like Brad Pitt in 'Moneyball'.

One negative perhaps is all the roster turning can "maybe" , just maybe cause some of the playoff failures???? At times does seem roster stability teams tend to win the big one more often, but might be wishful thinking on this. Maybe its just a good team with little more then roster tweaking needed?

Either way he stays on top most seasons cuz he simply enjoys it (Roster flipping) Love it.

Also, have to be prepared a bit for pennies on the dollar. We all can see the financials and know you maybe in a bit trouble. Sure this happens in the real world also. Did I really want to basically give McDade away to Toronto?? Not really, just the reality.

While we are in subject...Windy City? I did reach out to Jistic who was a firm no.

How are we doing with the owner search? Also just another best for the league thing. Understandable about Cory and some of the outside the BLB things he is dealing with, so do we really believe an active owner picks up Talley's option seeing as we all do he's dropping like a rock?? Could someone reach out to Corey and honestly ask if he had the time would he of left him go?

Just thinking about the new owner right now is all.

So, we do have a lead on an owner for WC, just haven't made the announcement yet because I want to make sure they're able to get setup this weekend and export.

Dropkick is Evans 2.0. Hopefully he's about to go on a Pancho Herrera type run.

Did preseason predictions just come out? I see Batavia primed to run away with the division.
