      Some good, some misses for Pawtucket.

      Signed Zach Cook at a much cheaper rate then his asking price. Now we just need to hope last season was just a fluke? He's very popular and once again not increase in fan interest. Once again this just happened in this version. I swear this part of the game is broke.

      Signed RP Bailey. See above.

      Signed SP Dave Boyle who showed up as the #75 prospect.

      Signed CF David Tirado Intl player. Probably my most intriguing signing. Taking a small risk my new scout actually knows what he's doing. Defense is solid at all 3 OF spots and split wise appears to be capable against lefty pitching. Fast as hell, but isn't everyone these days?? He either takes the reigns as our starting CF or he becomes a super sub 4th outfielder. Low risk here.

      We signed few other guys, but of little note.

      We MISSED on 'Zoom Zoom' to once again Philly (2B Lewis trade) Looking at the contract we didnt miss by much if any. Just think he preferred the 6th year versus our 5 years perhaps even though we offered 16.5 in year one. It happens.

      And now we wait for the demands to lower a bit.

        Zack will turn it around. He's a good pitcher, it was just a shock to him to get traded and he sulked a bit.

        Also, Im pretty sure signing popular players affects the rate of increase rather than a direct increase in
        the poularity.

          Signed CF Erik Hudson to a cheap two year deal, because the pitchers and park seem to like his defence. Tom Wright is annoyed with my lowballing ways. Selfish! Maybe I'll lowball everyone and see what sticks for the next sim.

            We've got some veteran leaders in. Hoping for a couple more.

            It's been a good free agency.

              Finally with internet at Home and more time to dedicate to the Dallas Sharks, just noticed we had 2 awards inside a horrible season:
              LF Jimmy Collins --> DWI Award. +16.9ZR, 241PO, 1.111 EFF
              CF O.P. Williams --> DWI Award. The former 1st Round pick lead the league in ZR this year with +25.5. He also had 3 Errors in 1165.1 IPs. Anywhere to check if the ZR is a BLB Season milestone??
              Miami Sharks (BLB)
              * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

              Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
              * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

                Rex Knight in his age 26 season posted a ZR of 43.4 as a CF.

                It's actually not even a team record as Tom Estes posted a 35.8 back in 2011 for DAL.

                          And now I'm down a rabbit hole looking up old Philly Freedom defensive-minded OFers. There goes my next hour.

                              Dixon was unbelievable and I wish I had been more defensive minded during his tenure.

                              I also almost forgot that one of your guys, Heishu Shiraishi, had a brief swim through Philly roaming the CF.
