So apparently my manager saw it fit to play LHH lineup vs. LHP. and vice versa.

      That was frustrating.to see.

I must've set up my hitters wrong. A great chance squandered.

Your 7 day was set to allow alternate lineups if handedness didn't match. Not sure why it wouldn't adjust accordingly.

                    Well,

As it goes we win the series against KC. We have no business being here but that's okay, we're on house money. Guaranteed two more gates which is awesome, but Toronto is the greatest team ever assembled so they'll sweep us.

3 - 1 on the road so far in the playoffs. Including two series wins, I certainly like that. Tom Murray was huge in that last series getting a big 9 K's for us, that brings his total up to 195 for the season, we're going to rely on him big time vs Toronto. Hopefully he doesn't have to face their backup catcher again.

The plan is set, changes to the roster have been made and we're ready to go. This is the series I've been planning for, now let's see how my assessment of how to neutralize their roster pays off. (Answer: 4 game sweep by Toronto)

In all seriousness Spear....let's be real. This is the series the fans wanted to see. This is the way the DL should be decided. I want a damn 7 game bloodbath. The ratings will be monstrous. Good luck.

So, everyone's in? We can wrap these LCS's up tonight, more than likely. I'll SIM as soon as I get home this afternoon/evening.

Beat Seattle because of karma. Beat Baltimore because of luck. Not sure what else we have vs Phoenix!

Sigh... another early exit for the Bats. I should have a copy and paste for the playoffs by now.

But, we just weren't able to put the finishing touches on the series after taking a 2-1 lead, despite getting at least 2 guys on base in the the 7th, 8th and 9th innings of game 4 when the score was tied. Left 7 men on base in 3 innings, and then lost it in the 10th. So, we'll head home again.

We just didn't hit well enough to win. Credit Phoenix for having a great, great, team. But Jimmy Douglas was 0/16 in the last 4 games of the series. Tristan Moody went 2/18 and Roseboom pulled his annual disappearing act in the postseason. At least we got one good start out of Carroll, unfortunately we needed two.

                            Congrats to Phoenix.

Not sure where this team goes from here, it's probably time to shake up the core of this group.

In retrospect, maybe this should have been seen coming? We almost took you down in the first round (a decent performance from the bullpen and we do) and we're just not that good of a team. You guys had a hell of a season so not sure what exactly went wrong in the postseason. Not sure the root cause (and really never am hence my own lack of success historically in the playoffs), but your core group is so stacked it's hard to see you not being in a position to win a title in the near term.
