Turns out waiver claims after September 1st are not playoff eligible. SP Reyes and IF Otero have been released. #PatCheats

Seattle should be ready within an hour or two for the Wild Card. Good luck to all remaining teams!

Hartford 1B Al Kelly hit THREE HOME RUNs in the Lonnie Coleman game to tie Andy Ulloa for the all-time HR record with 58!

Kelly did it in fewer at bats with twice as many walks. Impressive.

Yeesh, what a terrible showing in that game. Sucks our top pitchers weren't available.

I am having the grounds crew spend the next few off days taking out the first 20 rows of seats in the outfield and backing the fences up 30 feet all the way around in IN-And-Out Park. Not sure it will be enough, but not sure how else to contain that ridiculous offence that abused us during the regular season.
