So, we have a Lonnie Coleman game for one of the WC spots. That SIM will run tomorrow morning at the latest.

      Thanks, Brad.

A disappointing season in Maine, albeit one with identifiable bright spots.

If you had told me in June when we sat several games below .500 that I could sell Calligan and Becerra and add Taylor Thomas in order to pick up two firsts, a cache of prospects, and still claw our way back to .500, I would have taken that exchange happily.

It was certainly a seller's market this year.

Another fine season in California. We fell a little short of winning the division, so we go the wild card route.

Morla finished off another unbelievable regular season in California. Third straight year leading the league in WAR and again leading the team and in a number of offensive categories.

Tom Wright finished up his demolition of the team home run record... What a great signing two years ago... 75 home runs and 225 RBI for $19 million... Hard to complain about that.

Now we see what happens in the playoffs. Hopefully we get our pitching and hitting in order in the same games.

Dave Matney won his way into the hearts of Denver fans despite his Syracuse past.

In the top 20 list. Pitched incredible in the second half. Made us offer him an extension to guarantee his previous three year deal.

Though it looks like he can still out opt. Interesting development to watch unfold.

4-2 week to finish the year. We finish up at 104-58, which is the 4th best record in Washington history. In personal history, it's the second best team I've had by record, behind only my 1981 championship squad. The strong finish also makes us the second best team to not win their division in BLB history, behind only Maine's 106 win team in 1985.

So, good year for my team even if we weren't quite able to keep up with Baltimore. This week, we took 2 of 3 against them and then did the same against Philly, all on the road. We'll get our chance to do it again, since Philadelphia will be our wildcard opponent. I'm very pleased with how we played on the road this season, leading the league with a 54-27 mark away from home.

Most of my regulars only played in 3 games this week, but pretty much all of them hit well. Seibert, Yonke, Schneider and Moody are all on the "Who's Hot" list, while Roseboom, Turnbow and Douglas all hit over .500 in their limited at bats. On the pitching side, Jon Bonilla has gotten very good results since we claimed him on waivers, steadying the bullpen. Carroll didn't pitch this week, but the rest of the guys I'll be counting on did fine.

Heading into the playoffs, I feel pretty good about this team. We've hit much better this season than we did last year, even if we're not the pitching monsters we were a year ago. Hopefully it'll translate into some playoff success.

91-71. Honestly I was just hoping to get above .500 this year, but my team took off in July and the trades I made have paid off.

Can't avoid Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

What an awful season for us. We lock up 1.1 and trade a ton of guys (again)... just gotta hope all my prospects don't bust. We will probably be picking top 5 again next season too.

Neither Wilm or Hartford are in. Once they are though I can run it the rest of the day if wanted.

Don't forget to thank everyone that overpaid for players that were clearly overpaid and underperforming to gift you this 'tank dynasty'.
