Not complaining about ruining Montreal's tanking but what in the hell is wrong with Dallas??? We can face play-off teams and win series against them, however we struggle against the sucking expos and cia? I just don't understand the dice rolls of this version or this season...

In other news, very happy with some of my September call-ups.
Pat Borts, Emmet Goins and Ze-min Huang are all hitting well (all three hit over .300 this sim).
First year player Marco Contreras hit his 30th HR and is hitting .313 in the two-hole (.288 for the season).

Thankfully we don't play Dallas again for the rest of the season so I shouldn't have to worry about winning any further series.

4-3 road week for Seattle but it was a bit concerning. It appears a few Pilot have hit the "rookie wall." CL Roberto Valle, LF Manny Nieto and 2B Colin Niebauer, 21, 21, and 22, have really been struggling. In a normal season without an Andy Ulloa, these guys would all be legitimate Refreshing New Brew candidates. We are still in good shape to sneak into the post-season but this team isn't a threat. All three losses we scored just one run. On a team that is trying to out slug everyone, that is not a promising sign.

I know I have mentioned this before but I fully believe in "revenge factor" in OOTP. This week, SP Mel Reyes, facing his former DVS teammates had his worst start of the season: 2 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 3 BB, 1 K, in a pitchers park. However, LF Antonio Ontiveros, in his only start against his former team, went 4/5, 3 R, 2B and 2 RBI for by far his best performance of the season.

Agreed! Look at Pat Kaufman versus the Kodiaks this year...

Another much needed sim in California. We somehow escaped the Hartford bomb show with two wins thanks to Mike Morla's unbelievable efforts this week.

All this talk about Ulloa... Is this maybe just the year of the homer. It seems like every team has guys all up and down their lineup with 20 or 30 home runs. Perhaps this version has turned into the 2017 MLB version. All exit velocity baby!

Al Kelly hit one out this week. He has now tied the old record.

That's why pitching and defense no longer works. The BLB Gods were sick and tired of watching 2-1 / 4-2 / 1-0 games... So they toned the hitting up to watch 7-6 / 10-5 / 9-6 games! Loads more of excitement!!! #CallBabeRuth

Jimmy "Stupid-face" Burkhead pitched a CG shutout against me when we first faced him.
He's pitched decent for KC since I left him unprotected in the expansion draft, but overall he's been a bust as a former 2nd overall draft pick. Yet, this dink finds a way to summon the ghost of Satchel Paige against his old team? #RevengeFactor

We went 2-4 with a 1.73 team ERA. The offense has to get it together or it will be an early exit from the playoffs.

4-2 week for the Bats, but our position isn't changing. We did manage to take 2/3 from Baltimore, a nice moral victory.

Ed Carroll thew 8.1 innings of shutout ball against the Bulldogs, winning his 16th game of the year. Since his rough July, he's been as good as he ever has been. He hasn't walked anyone since 7/29, striking out 86 hitters since then. He's up to 9.4 WAR, which is a career high, with a chance at getting to double digits in that stat for whatever it's worth.

We're 6 wins short of 100, which I'd like to get to even if it doesn't matter for our playoff positioning.
