Happy to see some young arms coming up big during this week. Frost went down for the reminder of the season, fact that will open the door for Geoff Dails against lefties, he still underdevelop but he wants to be in the BLB yes or yes... So come on guy, show me what you are able to do from the plate.

Andy Ulloa just broke the home run record after hitting three bombs this week. Villarroel broke the record in 2010 with 51, and Ulloa passed that mark in 2022 with 54 (currently). Hartford's Al Kelly hit two more this week pushing his season total to 50. I know a lot of GMs are sad to see the record broke by an international, and he might end up with 60~, but it's pretty impressive that the HR record is likely to be broken by two players during the same season. So much for pitching and defense.

The Pilots went 5-2 and are now tied with Philadelphia for the #3 Wild Card seed. With the easiest remaining schedule in baseball left (.440%), the playoffs seem like a lock.

            That strategy died with Dallas.

Obviously the new wave is $35+ mm at international players.

If you're not doing it, you're behind. Don't let Pat start a thread asking why he's the only one that understood great players need to get paid.

I did it first... when there was still lots of international risk in the engine and got a ton of shit for it. Now, you just need the cash homie. Hope this offseason IFA delivers me my future superstar.

It would all be moot if some of these guys would bust like real life.

This is referred to in business administration as a "top-down problem."

4-3 and as expected, we lost one less game this week than we did in all of August.

On the bright side, two of our three loses came in extra innings, which I'm ok with. Now with a series in Washington and then hosting the massively underrated Riders, we have to stay focused with a good showing and keep Washington from closing the gap.

                              - Porter Champs: '92, '93, '97, '98, '01, '03, '06, '08, '12
                              - Playoffs: '92, '93, '97, '98, '99, '01, '03, '06, '08, '12, '13, '14, '15, '16
