Well trade deadline passes so my season is over. That said Dave Tibbs is the high riser up to #27 overall. Should probably be in AA but we are gonna slow build this bitch into a monster.

Looks like Pat Evans went out and shoved in his first Indy start. Get him a ring!

Taylor Thomas kicked ass, too. He helped us finally get above .500. We have a big series coming up against Hartford.

              Unreal!
I'm such a f**king amazing GM that even when I try to lose, I win!
Dammit! Why am I cursed with unbelievable GM skills and a vibrating penis!?!?!

This may be the only time I wish I was a lesser man like Dilandis, JJLinn or that guy that runs the Tobbs.

Any chance we can get a utility bump?

4-3 sim, losing two 1-run games @ Davenport.

Seattle loses catcher Ted Sandy for two weeks. Hopefully he doesn't lose his mojo as he has hit really well the past three months after struggling the first two.

Three game lead over Philly for WC#4 and one back of Windy City for WC#3. Getting WC#3 could be a fun race down the stretch as I don't think anyone wants to play Stout #2 in the WC round.

                  Thanks for stepping in Matt!

6-0 sim including an unexpected, 3-0 sweep of Washington in the nation's capital. Going 11-2 to start August gives us a little breathing space as we start coming to the final 8 weeks of the season. We are #1 in the power rankings and I'd love to keep the league's best record to get home field throughout the playoffs.

Asiku's 4 for 14 debut understates his impact since 3 of those 4 hits were for extra bases (2 doubles and a triple) and he scored 3 of the four times he got on base. He adds a lot to our team, especially setting the table vs. LHP.

With all headlines written or our pitching staff, rookie debuts and 21 year old phenoms, it can be easy to forget the veterans like DJ Gosser and Geoff Perritt. This year, teams have been making it tougher on the now 28 year old star 1st baseman, by consistently pitching around him to get to Perritt. Perritt has proven all season that is likely not the best decision, as he leads the team with 25 home runs and 76 RBI. Those two guys really make this team go and I am lucky to have them.

Quietly, Fajardo has a chance to be Baltimore's first 20 game winner in the franchise's history. Currently 15-3, the 33 year old star seems to still have what it takes to be one of the best in the league.

Our offence continues to be all smoke and mirrors. We look impressive in total numbers, but far to often it means we score 10 or 12 in a big win and lose meaningful games 4-2, 3-1, etc. far too often. We just can't seem to hit when it matters.

Took 2 of 3 from Pittsburgh and swept California. Pretty good SIM. Hoping to keep a small lead on the division until our arms come back. We will hopefully begin to pull away at that time.
