2022 Regular Season SIM 9 Complete - Next SIM Tuesday 7/18

Dam it. Forgot the sim was today. Oh well not sure it would of mattered. 3-4 and now sit 3 game below .500. The good news? Well we saw some bumps this sim and beginning to see a team identity. We just don't have all our pieces in place yet.

3-3 as we come out of our road 12 game road trip with a 7-5 record. I'll take it.

We are adding former 1st round pick, Brendon Lanoie from DVS to bolster our play against LHP. We aren't bad but right now, the usual suspects that mash vs. LHP aren't getting it done consistently enough for me.

Going forward an outfield that boasts Stripling, Haba, Lanoie, Fernandez, Lukomski and Whaley (maybe a year away) gives us a lot of youth and flexibility for a few years.

I think we are going to stick with a five man rotation now, with Cooper, Stukes and Marlor in the pen available to start on a moment's notice. I don't know if I can see a couple more positions where we can upgrade, but as it stands I'm pretty happy with the construction of this team.

On an unrelated note recent AAA acquisition, SP Tobias Livingston, is from Lochearn, MD which apparently is a small suburb right on the outskirts of the city of Baltimore. It's always kind of cool to get the guys that are originally from the area. The kid isn't too far off from a debut so I look forward to seeing what the hometown kid can do.
