Hoping Seattle is one of them but I doubt it.

Go 2-4 this week. Lost three to Baltimore, all three by 1 run, and took 2 of 3 from Carolina. I really need some guys to start hitting as my pitchers in the Baltimore series all lowered their ERA's and still took losses. Counting the weeks until Hayden makes his return.GM - Davenport Brawlers BLB

5-1 for the Bats this week. #2 in the power rankings, and (by percentage points) the best record in the league. So far, so good for my team.
Jimmy Douglas came back from his week off with an injury, and he's still a big difference maker for this lineup. He's 3rd in the IL in batting average and had three 3-hit games this week. Geoff Yonke is still doing his normal thing and CJ Turnbow's bounceback year continued for another week. A few rough spots, but the lineup is doing just fine.
Ed Carroll got to 100 strikeouts for the year, well ahead of the pack there. Against just 2 walks, he's pretty darn good. Roger Villasenor got a contract extension last sim and is responding well. Happy to have him stick around. Israel Rodriguez did blow 2 saves, perhaps emphasizing my need to find a bullpen arm. Thankfully we won both games anyway.Washington Bats, 2013-

The Sim: 1-5 week: 0-3 vs. Philly, 1-2 @ DC. Swept by Philly for the 2nd time this month.
The Good: SP Tom "Domino" King threw another gem: 7.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 4 K - Still has a lot of development left but he is showing some signs he might be worth the hype.
The Bad: Pitching.
The Ugly: How bad is the pitching? Last in the IL in hits allowed, walks allowed and runs allowed.
Next Week: 3 @ New York, 3 vs. Denver - 6 games under .500 but somehow only 2.5 back of a WC spot.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013

We are decidedly mediocre when Mike Morla strands 17 runners in a week. Our pitchers are continuing to pitch well, but WAAAAY to many home runs. In our three losses, most of the runs came on home runs, while we can't get a runner home from third with less than two out. Very frustrating!
And the injuries... What the hell is going on here... We have four BLBers on the DL and another half dozen decent prospects in the minors on the DL as well. Thankfully we are continuing to play decent baseball.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

Former Davenport outfielder Roman Stafford joined my AA club last week to try to make it back to the bigs.
He hit .167. Not great.
But he did something remarkable.
On Saturday, the team was getting the shit kicked out of them by Washington affiliate Auburn.
Entering the top of the seventh, with the team trailing 14-2, Johnny Foster gave up a leadoff single.
At this point, manager Dani Alvarez (yes, THAT Dani Alvarez) threw up his hands and called on Stafford to pitch.
Stafford had never pitched at the professional level and there was no reason to believe he could do so at all competently. It was a "let's save our pitchers' arms" scenario.
But Stafford pitched brilliantly.
The southpaw outfielder threw three scoreless, hitless innings to complete the game, walking only one batter while striking out four. He retired the side in order in both the eighth and ninth innings.Maine Guides

Enrique Ochoa is finally shaking off the late signing rust. Hit .389 last week. Former first round pick pulled off the scrap heap Jimmy Wiskow is up to .290. That's a positive sign or two.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

11-1 in our last 12. We are finally starting to put it together. Burned through a lot of arms in the process but happy with the rotation and bullpen for now.Toronto Canadians - 2004-
