2022 Draft Utility is live - Draft clock starts Wednesday 7/12
Sorry for the delay. Thanks for all the trade offers but decided to go with another SP...3rd in 3 years I believe. Hopefully that arm injury doesn't kills his career and he only keeps getting stronger. Maybe I'll actually have a SP staff that isn't dead last in the league in a few seasons.

One of the 7 guys I have that I was really hoping would sneak to 25... Nice pick!
GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present Brewmaster's Cup Champions 2036, 2043
Yeah yeah his injury history scares the shit out of me, but I just got a feeling about this kid. Feels like a true superstar. Also rolling the dice we tend to handle fragile kids with kid gloves.
We got a gameplan for handling him.
When he is playing he's a legit top of the order hitter. Also...yeah he plays defense well also.
We traded down to have multiple picks for a reason, not to play all the picks safe.

It's a good pick this late. If Lyons had never been hurt, he's a top 5 pick. Would have been in the running for #1 even.
A fragile CF who looks like he is going to be covering about 70% of the entire OF is definitely scary but I think he's worth the risk. He could actually debut as the top prospect from this class and I wouldn't be surprised. That's probably never happened in BLB history with a pick this late.

DVS is on the clock and then Seattle.
I will entertain offers to trade down from the 17th pick if anyone is interested who picks in the 18-40 range.
Wilmington Wildcats- 2057- Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041 Washington Bats - 1979-2013
I had three teams with really good offers for the pick and I was simultaneously trying to change a diaper, feed and on top of that my board got ripped up by Snider, Melendes and Lyon going off the board.
SP Erik Wade is coming to Seattle. Feels like a super safe pick at this point. Maybe a little too safe with the high upside talent still available at SS and CF, but made the pick anyways.
