CF Brookshere I had at #1. Durable CF who hits for contact and power. Very rare. Swope is gonna be a good player also especially with his bat. My scout isn't keen on his ability to play either SS or CF. He's gonna be a 3B or RF at best. Still , he will anchor a lineup for years.PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS

Sure, you have a higher chance to land a great prospect the higher you are in the round of course, but I prefer to have the prospects I didn't think would be there fall to my selection. For instance, last year, I went with Seymour. He was #1 on the draft list. I got multiple PMs from teams saying they would have gone the same way but I'm not sure it was the best pick. If I could do it again, I might even take Tom Clark.
I'd rather be picking 15+ and just wait to see who is there. Having to decide from such a large group of great prospects, especially in the new version, is difficult.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

I hope tanking for a title works for me. It's my last "try" at winning a title because my other ways don't work.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

As far as blowing this draft.... I don't think it's that dramatic. The IL is down. The Bock is arguably the weakest division in baseball. Starting in 2024, you have about $20M in player payroll. Even if no IFAs show up, you will probably have about $80M+ to drop on FAs to have a quick turn around. And that's if all the picks are misses....which they won't be. DVS will be back to being relevant as early as 2023, more likely 2024.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Especially with my scout who seems to see the opposite as OSA.
There are only a few top prospects where they both have similar scouting reports.
But I enjoy the difficulty of trying to weed out the good from the bad. I felt like in the older versions, top prospects were far closer to being slam-dunks than in '17.Brewers League Baseball
