Your center fielder Lukomski leads off and is a 25 year old switch-hitting former ninth round pick who got cut and picked up by Dallas before you traded for him. Sure he's struggling this year but you've gotten a couple nice seasons out of him so far.

Then your left fielder Stripling follows him. A 21 year old tearing up the BLB to the point of ranking highly on the Top Players list. Mashing baseballs as well as anyone in the league. Damn good for the 16th overall pick!

Finally your #3 hitter is your right fielder Haba. The 52nd overall pick just three years ago! What's he doing in the BLB? Oh, nothing much — just hitting .388 with a 1.019 OPS is all.

    Damn, dude!
    Thanks.

Lumkowski has played well enough to keep us afloat in center. It is so hard to find a decent CF nowadays so I'm happy with what he provides.

Stripling is my crown jewel. IL Wildcard MVP last year at 20 years old, an early SS candidate, and unbelievably, he hasn't even reached full potential according to my scouting staff. He's still got power and avoid K growth. If he remains healthy, lookout Ulloa.

Haba is one of those guys that my old, old (the good one before the one I hired and fired at the beginning of this season) scout never wavered on. He never rated him as a star type by bars but his blurb ALWAYS said "solid career with the talent to exceed that expectation" since the day we drafted him. I figured I'd give him a chance to play since on paper, he was fully developed. He's been a totally complete, but pleasant surprise. We got completely lucky on that dude playing at the level he is right now, but sometimes those lucky breaks are what give you a chance at a ring.

My scout liked Haba, too. He was on my radar but you snatched him up first.

You roughed up Lensini twice in a two week span. In the past he's had Baltimore's number. This year is definitely a more balanced team with a scary lineup.

vs. RHP - You go five lefties and three switch.
vs. LHP - You got three righties, four switch, with the only lefty being Stripling

It's pretty impressive what having that many switch-hitters can do for a team. Sure, they aren't equally great from both sides but it sure makes the pitcher uncomfortable.

I screwed up not giving him the rock in Game 7 of the IL Championship last year. If the opportunity presents itself again, I will not make the same mistake twice.

Don't feel bad, I've given him the rock many times and he failed me. Hopefully he gets in the Hall as a Scorpion.
