I think the new reality is that bad long term signings are hard to get away from. 6 players for $105 million. If they don't perform, any team would be screwed.

It's too bad your team was the only one subjected to the version change.

Really unfair if you think about it!

Don't know why we decided to do it that way.

As someone who this has actually happened to more than probably anyone still left around here - outside Pat and Prez this is most definitely not the case.

You got how many titles how quickly? That alone...

Yeah, that's why they changed the version, I cracked the code to win non-stop....

Jokes aside, what most hurts my ego is that I send my next 2 1st Rounds to Windy City... To get Gail, who will be really good, but I don't know if he will get back in time, for Dallas current generation of fat, rich, young people...

I missed this earlier but since I had a few minutes to dig into it - another add on to my gushing about Vickers earlier...

This sim, with his 2 stolen bases, Pat Vickers has moved into first all time in stolen bases in Millers history!!

6-0 but that means little when you are chasing Carroll and company.

We currently boast the league's best team ERA, although I sincerely doubt we can continue at this pace. Our offensive pace has been set by the younger guys on the squad. Particularly, rookie outfielder Dave Haba comes to mind. The former 2nd round pick has started the season hot hitting .388/.407/1.020 and in a world without Ulloa, he'd be a solid early candidate for the IL New Brew.

One other thing that I'm particularly proud of about this team is that they are playing very well against lefties. Teams have been trying to stack lefties on the mound against us, but our guys have responded by hitting consistently from both sides of the plate. 23 year old infielder Pat Femrite, plated 11 RBI las week from the lead off position, as he feasted vs. LHP.

Next week, we'll try to keep our 5 game win streak going a little longer with a six games at home, hosting Denver and Chicago.

                              - Playoffs: '92, '93, '97, '98, '99, '01, '03, '06, '08, '12, '13, '14, '15, '16

Delandis, I really appreciate the outfield you put together.

Your center fielder Lukomski leads off and is a 25 year old switch-hitting former ninth round pick who got cut and picked up by Dallas before you traded for him. Sure he's struggling this year but you've gotten a couple nice seasons out of him so far.

Then your left fielder Stripling follows him. A 21 year old tearing up the BLB to the point of ranking highly on the Top Players list. Mashing baseballs as well as anyone in the league. Damn good for the 16th overall pick!

Finally your #3 hitter is your right fielder Haba. The 52nd overall pick just three years ago! What's he doing in the BLB? Oh, nothing much — just hitting .388 with a 1.019 OPS is all.

                                Damn, dude!
