Umm, Andrew, you may want to look into the trade Sin City and I completed. It says I traded my first rounder, second rounder, and Provencia for nothing. I was supposed to get some guys back in return.

      Wow, big money for Grandon.

JJ, great deal for Lang, IMO.

Patience, chippered. With all of these missed sims, it's obvious Andrew's a little rusty.

umm. stu. apparently i managed to pull off the most one-sided trade in BLB history:

Done deal! The Indianapolis Clowns have agreed to send 24-year old right fielder Ray Provencia, a 1st round draft pick and a 2nd round draft pick to the Sin City Gamblers for nothing. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.

            Sweet! Thanks Chippered!

Edit: oops, didn't see the other posts. haha

Yeah, i'm just not used to having more than a couple of good players on my roster. Just wanted to see what it would look like.

Well my first non minor leaguer free-agent signing....LF Odilio Farelo. My scout has him rated at 6-5-2-6-4. The past two seasons in Carolina he hit .285 with a .350 OBP. He will compete with Oscar Paulet and Miguel Angel Padilla for the starting LF spot in spring training. At worst, I think he can be a great bat off the bench.

He signed a two year contract. The first year is guaranteed at $1,450,000 with a mutual option at $2.9. He will turn 36 this May, so this is probably a one year deal.

That's the saddest look I've ever seen on a dog's face... what the hell are you doing to that thing!?!?!?

BTW - Is she/he a Golden? We love ours... but be warned... they eat rocks!

It was his first day home so he didn't know what the hell was going on. He has so much extra skin on his face that he pretty much always looks like that though. He's a lab, not a golden. He eats rocks too though. In fact he eats pretty much anything in front of him.

Yeah... that's probably the saddest puppy face I've ever seen. Ever.

                            Here's ours, Boomer.

                            Pure bred Yellow Lab.

This photo is a good 3-4 years old now. He's full grown at 5 years... but he's still as big a whiner as he was as a puppy.

Be warned, as Clay said, they will, and do eat everything. This one has had to have his stomach pumped for eating rat poisioning, prescription meds, car keys and a remote control.

They also have no idea what "full" means. He will eat until he gets sick, eat his vomit and keep going. So be wary of how much you feed it.

Your puppy is cute as hell.

Last trade deadline we traded Joe "One Man Bailout" Soca to Baltimore for a package that included one piece we actually liked - AAA MR Pat Tomlinson. Naturally, in his first sim with us, Tomlinson tore his labrum and is out for all of 1985. Then his ratings dropped. Which blew.

But now we resigned Soca, the BLB's resident FA, to a one year deal for less than he was making with us last spring. Which is nice.
