He sounds like a guy that used to play with BB King in the 40's but never got his big break

The Sim: 3-3 week: 1-1 vs. Baltimore, 2-2 @ Carolina. Was hoping for a better showing agains the BLB's worst team (record-wise) but I'll take a .500 sim with majority on the road.

The Good: Ulloa hit three more HRs this week bringing his season total to 10, behind only Jamie O'Hearn and only behind Mike Morla in OPS. He's up to #4 on the top players list and he's the main reason we are even respectable. OF Manny Nieto has started to heat up: 1.106 OPS this week. His contact is a big concerning but his eye/power combo has really been good the past few weeks.

The Bad: OF Bereket "Magic" Asiku is now up to three stolen bases... on TEN attempts! He's better than a career 2:1 ratio so for him to be 3:7 at this point is mind boggling. Or maybe he's older than he says he is.

The Ugly: Infielder Ron Moniv in 58 PA (eight highest on the team) has an OPS+ of (4). Yes, 4. Maybe someone out there wants to give him a chance but he's going down to Triple-A.

Next Week: 2 @ Baltimore, 2 @ Batavia, 3 vs. Carolina. Seattle is three games under .500 and 2.5 back of the 6th spot. May is all Stout opponents so I doubt we make much room unless the teams above us really struggle.

3-2 as we split in Seattle and then take 2 of 3 at home from the Roadrunners. Both losses were lost 1-2, but I'm ok with that happening from time to time.

-Unfortunately, we had our first big injury this past sim as 21 year old, Japanese reliever, Yoshio Kamiya is out 3-4 months with a torn labrum. Kamiya had a promising rookie season in 2021 and was doing even better this year. This could prove to be a big blow as the season goes on. In his place, we'll be promoting 24 year old righty, Geoff Marlor. Marlor has actually been "chomping at the bit" for the last 3 years and will finally get his chance to show what he can do.

-Going 15-8 for the month, we end up a game out of first in the Stout and it looks to be another battle for first. We also pick up both the IL Hitter and Pitcher of the April with OF CJ Stripling and SP Willie Fajardo winning the awards, respectively. At 21 years old and the youngest player on the list Stripling has finally made his appearance on the Top Players List at #14. Fajardo spent most of 2021 off the Top Pitchers List but finds himself at #12 early in 2022.

I'm pretty happy with our team as we are quietly, one of the better hitting and pitching teams in the IL. I'm excited to see where we go from here.

Tom Monk trademarked that when he was still in elementary.

I petition for his name to be changed to The Other Artist.

Since when is there a limit of one artist?

                            They're different types of artists.

Monk is an artist who works with basically two pitches. He's a minimalist artist.

Bernardi throws four good pitches. He's more of an impressionist.

I think I've said this before on SGN but I actually had a friend who went by "The Artist."

As in he introduced himself by his first name and then "The Artist."

                              It was weird.
