With all being said, Pat just was in the right place at the right time. Can't fault him for this. This made his team a 75-85 win team. His bullpen is still a mess and bullpen plays such a role in this league.

Also another interesting note: pitching prospects bust a bit more today from what I'm seeing. kind of reality to real life right??

Pitching prospects busting more frequently is real.

Seems control is definitely the most likely to go away too.

Seeing that, but also in this new age "movement" is a bit diminished. Not that it was trick , but 5-7-5 or 5-6-5 plopped at the 3-5 spot along with two aces was enough to do the trick with a above average or elite IF(I cared less about the kids bat at SS & 2B). Not at all the case today. A 5-6-5 pitcher today feels like a 4+ era guy and he still allows his share of homeruns no matter who you put behind him.

Not bitching. The game changes and its our job to adapt.

I agree with this, the new generation of hitters is just nuts, they are way above the 5/6/5 pitchers nowadays.
